Claims (5)
- シェル内をセパレータによって複数の消音室に区画し、少なくとも1つの消音室に吸音材を充填して成る消音器への前記吸音材の充填方法であって、
前記シェルの前記吸音材を充填すべき消音室に対応する箇所に孔を形成し、該孔から前記吸音材を前記消音室に向けて噴射して該消音室に前記吸音材を充填した後、前記孔を封孔部材によって前記シェルの外部から封止し、
前記封孔部材は取付ブラケットを兼ねることを特徴とする消音器への吸音材充填方法。 - 前記吸音材を充填すべき前記消音室を吸引しながら、前記シェルの外部から前記孔に差し込まれた充填用ノズルから前記吸音材を前記消音室に向けて噴射することによって、該吸音材を前記消音室に充填することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の消音器への吸音材充填方法。
- 前記封孔部材の前記シェルの外面に当接する外周フランジ部を前記シェルの外面に溶接することによって、該封孔部材で前記孔を封止することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の消音器への吸音材充填方法。
- 前記シェルの外面の前記封孔部材の外周フランジ部が当接する部分は、平坦な平面で構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の消音器への吸音材充填方法。
- 前記封孔部材は、有底カップ状に成形されていることを特徴とする請求項1~4の何れかに記載の消音器の吸音材充填方法。
