Description
前記プリントポリマー層は、
(a) ポリ塩化ビニルと、塩化ビニル及び酢酸ビニルの共重合体と、塩化ビニル、酢酸ビニル及びエチレンのターポリマーとの一つ以上から選択される重合体と、
(b) 可塑剤と、
(c) 着色剤と、
(d) 炭酸カルシウムとを含み、
前記プリントポリマー層中のポリマーに対する炭酸カルシウムの重量比が、0.1ないし3.5の範囲にある。
液体可塑剤中のポリマー粒子の分散液を基板に塗布してポリマー層を形成する工程であって、前記ポリマーは、ポリ塩化ビニルと、塩化ビニル及び酢酸ビニルの共重合体と、塩化ビニル、酢酸ビニル、及びエチレンのターポリマーとのうちの一つ以上から選択される工程と、
前記ポリマー層上にインクをプリントしてプリントポリマー層を形成する工程であって、前記インクが着色剤を含み、前記プリントポリマー層が着色剤を含む工程と、
前記プリントポリマー層を硬化して前記プリントポリマー層を液体から固体に変える工程と、を含み、
前記液体可塑剤中のポリマー粒子の分散物が炭酸カルシウムを含み、ポリマーに対する炭酸カルシウムの重量比が0.1ないし3.5の範囲にある。
前記プラスチゾル組成物中のポリマーに対する炭酸カルシウムの重量比が0.1~3.5の範囲であるように、前記組成物が炭酸カルシウムを含む。
液体プラスチゾルの調製
液体プラスチゾルは以下の方法で調製した:
1) PVCと可塑剤を混合する。
2) 工程1の混合物に炭酸カルシウムを加える。
3) 工程2の混合物に粘性低下剤を添加する。
工程1~3の間、混合温度を21℃~25℃の間に維持した。
実施例のプラスチゾル組成物及び比較例を各々用いて、以下の方法で画像を印刷した。
1) プラスチゾル組成物を基板に塗布し、ポリマー層を形成する。
2) 工程1のポリマー層上に着色剤を含むインクを印刷する。
3) プリントポリマー層を130℃で90秒間加熱する。
ポリマー層は、工程(1)と(2)との間で乾燥または硬化されなかった。
Claims (15)
- インクジェット印刷されたプリント基板を生産する方法であって、
基板の表面上にプリントポリマー層を設けることであって、
前記プリントポリマー層を設けることは、
液体状の可塑剤中のポリマー粒子の分散液を前記基板に塗布して形成された未硬化ポリマー層にインクを印刷することによって前記プリントポリマー層を形成した後、硬化させることを含み、
前記プリントポリマー層は、
(a) ポリ塩化ビニルと、塩化ビニル及び酢酸ビニルの共重合体と、塩化ビニル、酢酸ビニル及びエチレンのターポリマーとの一つ以上から選択される重合体と、
(b) 前記可塑剤と、
(c) 着色剤と、
(d) 炭酸カルシウムと、を含み、
前記プリントポリマー層中のポリマーに対する炭酸カルシウムの重量比が、0.4ないし1.5の範囲にあり、30μmないし85μmのドットサイズを有する、
方法。 - 前記可塑剤がエステル系可塑剤である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記エステル系可塑剤が、フタル酸ジブチル、フタル酸ジノニル、フタル酸ジオクチル、フタル酸ドデシル、フタル酸ジイソデシル、フタル酸ジイソノニル、フタル酸ジトリデシル、およびフタル酸n-ヘキシル-n-デシルのうちの一つ以上から選択されるフタル酸系可塑剤である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーがポリ塩化ビニルである、請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記基板はフリースバック紙である、請求項1ないし4いずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記着色剤がインクジェットプリント着色剤である、請求項1ないし5いずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 基板上にインクジェット装置を用いて印刷する方法であって、
液体可塑剤中のポリマー粒子の分散液を基板に塗布して未硬化ポリマー層を形成する工程であって、前記ポリマーは、ポリ塩化ビニルと、塩化ビニル及び酢酸ビニルの共重合体と、塩化ビニル、酢酸ビニル、及びエチレンのターポリマーとのうちの一つ以上から選択される工程と、
前記未硬化ポリマー層上にインクジェット印刷によってインクを印刷してプリントポリマー層を形成する工程であって、前記インクが着色剤を含み、これによって前記プリントポリマー層が着色剤を含む工程と、
前記プリントポリマー層を硬化して前記プリントポリマー層を液体から固体に変える工程と、を含み、
前記液体可塑剤中のポリマー粒子の分散物が炭酸カルシウムを含み、ポリマーに対する炭酸カルシウムの重量比が0.4ないし1.5の範囲にある、方法。 - 前記液体可塑剤がエステル系可塑剤である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記エステル系可塑剤が、フタル酸ジブチル、フタル酸ジノニル、フタル酸ジオクチル、フタル酸ドデシル、フタル酸ジイソデシル、フタル酸ジイソノニル、フタル酸ジトリデシル、およびフタル酸n-ヘキシル-n-デシルのうちの一つ以上から選択されるフタル酸系可塑剤である、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーがポリ塩化ビニルである、請求項7ないし9いずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記基板はフリースバック紙である、請求項7ないし10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントポリマー層が30μmないし85μmのドットサイズを有する、請求項7ないし11いずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記プリントポリマー層が、120ないし200℃の範囲の温度に加熱されることによって硬化される、請求項7ないし12いずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記インクは油性インクである、請求項7ないし13いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記インクが、前記着色剤と、フタル酸エステル、セバシン酸エステル、クエン酸エステル、アゼリン酸エステル、ラウリン酸エステル、ミリスチン酸エステル、パルミチン酸エステル、オクタン酸エステルおよびイソノナン酸エステルのうちの一つ以上から選択されるエステル油とを含む、請求項14に記載の方法。
