Description
Claims (10)
- インクジェット画像形成装置のプリントヘッド内のインクジェットを動作する発射信号を生成するために使用される画像データ内の文字画素を修正することであって、
前記修正が、インクジェットを作動させる発射信号に対応する値を有する文字の接触領域内で文字画素を減少させる、修正することと、
前記修正された文字画素から前記インクジェットを動作する発射信号を生成することと、
非吸収性メディア上に文字を形成するように、前記非吸収性メディア上に非吸収性メディアインク滴を吐出するための前記生成された発射信号を用いて、前記プリントヘッド内の前記インクジェットを動作することと、
前記文字の内部領域内の前記文字画素のうちの少なくとも1つを所定の塗りつぶしコントーン値に設定することと、
前記文字のエッジ上の全ての前記文字画素を塗りつぶし値に設定することと、
前記接触領域内の複数の前記文字画素を、前記内部領域内の前記文字画素の前記コントーン値よりも小さいコントーン値に設定することと、
ハーフトーン処理方法、ランダム選択方法、または距離メトリックを参照して前記複数の文字画素を選択することと、を含み、
前記ランダム選択方法を参照して前記前記複数の文字画素を選択する場合、前記ランダム選択方法が、前記文字の内部領域内の画素に使用されるコントーン値の約25%である値を有する前記接触領域内の前記文字画素を選択する、非吸収性メディアインクを用いて非吸収性メディア上に塗りつぶし文字を形成する方法。 - 前記内部領域の領域被覆範囲が予め決められている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 予め決められた前記領域被覆範囲が35%以上である、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記接触領域内の前記文字画素の前記コントーン値が、前記内部領域内の前記文字画素の前記所定の塗りつぶしコントーン値の所定の割合である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記画像データ内の前記文字画素の二値画像を生成することと、
前記二値画像内の文字の内部領域内で文字画素を識別することと、
前記二値画像内の前記文字のエッジを形成する文字画素を識別することと、
前記二値画像内の前記接触領域内で、文字画素を、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別することと、
前記二値画像の前記接触領域内で、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別された第1所定の割合の文字画素を、前記二値画像内の前記文字の前記内部領域に移動することと、
前記二値画像の前記接触領域内で、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別された第2所定の割合の文字画素を、前記二値画像内の前記文字の前記エッジに移動することと、
前記二値画像の前記接触領域内で、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別された第3所定の割合の文字画素を、前記二値画像内の前記文字の前記接触領域内に残すことと、をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 発射信号を受信すると、非吸収性メディアインク滴を吐出するように構成された複数のインクジェットを有するプリントヘッドと、
画像データを記憶するメモリと、
前記メモリに動作可能に接続されるコントローラと、を含み、前記コントローラが、
インクジェットを作動させる発射信号に対応する値を有する文字の接触領域内で文字画素を減少させるように、前記メモリに記憶された前記画像データ内の文字画素を修正し、
前記修正された文字画素から前記インクジェットを動作する発射信号を生成し、
前記生成された発射信号を用いて、非吸収性メディア上に文字を形成するために、前記非吸収性メディア上に非吸収性メディアインク滴を吐出するように、前記プリントヘッド内の前記インクジェットを動作し、
前記文字の内部領域内の前記文字画素のうちの少なくとも1つを所定の塗りつぶしコントーン値に設定し、
前記文字のエッジ上の全ての前記文字画素を塗りつぶし値に設定し、
前記接触領域内の複数の前記文字画素を、前記内部領域内の前記文字画素の前記コントーン値よりも小さいコントーン値に設定し、
ハーフトーン処理方法、ランダム選択方法、またはハーフトーン処理方法を参照して前記複数の文字画素を選択するように構成され、
前記ランダム選択方法を参照して前記前記複数の文字画素を選択する場合、前記ランダム選択方法が、前記文字の前記内部領域内の画素に使用されるコントーン値の約25%である値を有する前記接触領域内の前記文字画素を選択する、インクジェット印刷システム。 - 前記内部領域の領域被覆範囲が予め決められている、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 予め決められた前記領域被覆範囲が35%以上である、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記接触領域内の前記文字画素の前記コントーン値が、前記内部領域内の前記文字画素の前記所定の塗りつぶしコントーン値の所定の割合である、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラが、
前記画像データ内の前記文字画素の二値画像を生成し、
前記二値画像内の文字の内部領域内で文字画素を識別し、
前記二値画像内の前記文字のエッジを形成する文字画素を識別し、
前記二値画像内の前記接触領域内で、文字画素を、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別し、
前記二値画像の前記接触領域内で、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別された第1所定の割合の文字画素を、前記二値画像内の前記文字の前記内部領域に移動し、
前記二値画像の前記接触領域内で、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別された第2所定の割合の文字画素を、前記二値画像内の前記文字の前記エッジに移動し、 前記二値画像の前記接触領域内で、インクジェットの発射を示す値を有するように識別された第3所定の割合の文字画素を、前記二値画像内の前記文字の前記接触領域内に残すように構成される、請求項6に記載のシステム。
