Claims (17)
- 熱可塑性材料で作製された2つの部品の一部を接合するための赤外線溶着方法であって、前記方法は、
前記2つの部品を互いに相手から離間させた状態で、シールド組立体に収容された赤外線加熱装置と隣り合わせて配置することと、
前記赤外線加熱装置に電力供給して赤外放射を放射させ、前記放射された赤外放射を、互いに直接接合される前記2つの部品の表面上へと誘導することによって、前記2つの部品の対向する表面の少なくとも一部を溶融させることであって、前記赤外放射が溶着中の前記2つの部品に限定されるように、前記赤外線加熱装置がシールド組立体によってシールドされた状態で、前記表面の少なくとも一部を溶融させることと、
前記シールド組立体内に、ついで前記赤外線加熱装置の周りを通って前記シールド組立体の間隙から外に、そして前記2つの部品の一方のまたは両方の前記表面上へと非加熱の不活性ガスを誘導することであって、前記2つの部品が溶融する際にこれらが酸化するのを防止し、溶融中の前記熱可塑性材料のいかなる燃焼も防止するのに十分な流量で、前記赤外放射を受ける前記2つの部品の一方のまたは両方の前記表面上へと前記非加熱の不活性ガスを誘導することと、
前記部品の少なくとも一方を前記2つの部品の他方に向けて移動させることによって前記2つの部品を締め合わせて、前記2つの部品の溶融した前記表面を互いに接触するように押し付けることと、
前記2つの部品をこれらが締め合わされて互いに直接接触したままである間に冷却して、溶融した前記熱可塑性材料を固化させ、これにより前記2つの部品を一体に溶着することと、
を含む、赤外線溶着方法。 - 請求項1に記載の赤外線溶着方法であって、前記2つの部品は前記溶融および締め合わせ中に互いに位置合わせされることを特徴とする赤外線溶着方法。
- 請求項1に記載の赤外線溶着方法であって、前記2つの部品の前記対向する表面は、2つの別個の赤外線加熱装置によって加熱されることを特徴とする赤外線溶着方法。
- 請求項1に記載の赤外線溶着方法であって、前記赤外放射と前記非加熱の不活性ガスは同じ位置から溶融される前記表面上へと誘導されることを特徴とする赤外線溶着方法。
- 請求項1に記載の赤外線溶着方法であって、前記非加熱の不活性ガスは溶融される各前記表面を当該表面の前記溶融中に覆うこと特徴とする赤外線溶着方法。
- 請求項1に記載の赤外線溶着方法であって、前記赤外線加熱装置への前記電力供給を所定の時間間隔後に終了させることを特徴とする赤外線溶着方法。

前記シールド組立体内に、ついで前記赤外線加熱コイルの周りを通って前記シールド組立体の間隙から外に、そして前記赤外放射を受ける前記2つの部品の一方のまたは両方の表面上へと前記非加熱の不活性ガスを誘導し、
前記2つの部品の少なくとも一方を前記2つの部品の他方に向けて移動させることによって前記2つの部品を締め合わせて、前記部品の溶融した前記表面を互いに接触するように押し付け、
前記2つの部品をこれらが締め合わされて互いに直接接触したままである間に冷却して、溶融した熱可塑性材料を固化させ、これにより前記2つの部品を1つに溶着する、
ように構成されている、
赤外線溶着システム。 - 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記2つの部品は溶融および締め合わせ中に互いに位置合わせされることを特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
- 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記2つの部品の対向する表面は、2つの別個の赤外線加熱装置によって加熱されることを特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
- 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記赤外放射および前記非加熱の不活性ガスは共通のポートを通して溶融される各前記表面上へと誘導されることを特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
- 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記非加熱の不活性ガスは溶融される各前記表面を当該表面の前記加熱および前記溶融中に覆うこと特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
- 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記赤外線加熱装置への前記電力供給を所定の時間間隔後に終了させることを特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
- 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記2つの部品の前記表面上への前記非加熱の不活性ガスの誘導は、前記赤外線加熱装置への前記電力供給を終了させた後で終了されることを特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
- 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記非加熱の不活性ガスは前記2つの部品上へと誘導される前記赤外放射を取り囲むことを特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
- 請求項9に記載の赤外線溶着システムであって、前記赤外線加熱装置は前記赤外放射を前記溶着中の前記部品に限定するように前記シールド組立体によってシールドされていることを特徴とする赤外線溶着システム。
