Claims (18)
- 止血弁アセンブリであって、
筐体と、
筐体の中に少なくとも部分的に配置され、弾性部材を通って少なくとも部分的に延びる幅が変動する導路を形成する、弾性部材と、を備え、
前記弾性部材は、
第一直径を規定する第一密封表面と、
前記第一直径より大きな第二直径を規定する第一レリーフ表面と、
前記第一直径とは大きさが異なり、前記第二直径より小さい第三直径を規定する第二密封表面と、
前記第三直径より大きな第四直径を規定する第二レリーフ表面と、を有し、
前記第一密封表面は、0.25mm~0.45mmの第一高さを有し、
前記第二密封表面は、0.25mm~0.45mmの第二高さを有し、
前記第一密封表面は、前記第一レリーフ表面の近位にあり、前記第一レリーフ表面は、前記第二密封表面の近位にあり、前記第二密封表面は、前記第二レリーフ表面の近位にあり、
前記筐体の中に少なくとも部分的に位置する前記弾性部材に固定されるように構成され、前記弾性部材の近位端に隣接して構造的な支持を与えるフォーム状部材と、を有し、前記フォーム状部材は、種々の細長部材の挿入および除去を容易にする潤滑流体を保持し、
前記筐体に連結するキャップと、を備え、
円形凹部が前記弾性部材の近位表面の中に延びていて、前記円形凹部は、前記キャップの突出部に係合して固定される、止血弁アセンブリ。 - 前記弾性部材が、前記筐体によって半径方向に圧縮される、請求項1に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 請求項1~2のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリであって、
前記筐体が、円筒形の内径を規定し、
前記弾性部材が、前記筐体の前記内径に少なくとも部分的に配置される、止血弁アセンブリ。 - 前記弾性部材の中に、前記弾性部材の遠位端から前記導路の遠位端まで少なくとも延びるスリットをさらに有する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記スリットが、前記弾性部材を2つの別個の接続していない部品に分ける、請求項4に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記弾性部材が、密封領域をさらに有し、前記止血弁アセンブリが静止状態にあるときに、前記密封領域が、前記スリットを横切る液密性シールを形成する、請求項4~5のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記弾性部材が、細長部材の近位端上で引っ込められることなく、前記弾性部材を通って延びる前記細長部材の周囲から除去されるような構成である、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記筐体が、第一アームと第二アームとを備えており、前記筐体を前記細長部材の近位端上で引っ込めることなく、前記細長部材から前記筐体を除去するために、前記第一アームおよび前記第二アームが、前記筐体の部分を互いに分離するような構成である、請求項7に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記弾性部材がシリコーンゴムを含む、請求項1~8のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記弾性部材の幅が、圧縮されていないときの前記弾性部材の幅の97%~94%の間になるように、前記筐体が半径方向に前記弾性部材を前記止血弁アセンブリの長手方向軸に向かって圧縮する、請求項1~9のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第一密封表面が、第一突出部の最内表面によって規定され、前記第二密封表面が、第二突出部の最内表面によって規定され、細長部材が止血弁アセンブリの中を進むにつれて、前記第一突出部が、前記第一レリーフ表面によって形成される第一レリーフ空間の中で曲がるような構成であり、前記第二突出部が、第二レリーフ表面によって規定される第二レリーフ空間の中で曲がるような構成である、請求項1~10のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第一直径が前記第三直径より長い、請求項1~11のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記弾性部材が、前記第一密封表面および前記第二密封表面の直径とは異なる第五直径を有する第三密封表面をさらに有し、前記第三密封表面が、前記第二レリーフ表面の遠位にある、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第五直径が、前記第一直径および前記第三直径の両方よりも小さい、請求項13に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第五直径が、ガイドワイヤの周囲に液密性シールを形成するような構成である、請求項13~14のいずれか一項に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 前記第一密封表面は、第一高さが0.25mm~1.5mmの第一円筒形表面を形成し、前記第二密封表面は、第二高さが0.25mm~1.5mmの第二円筒形表面を形成する、請求項1に記載の止血弁アセンブリ。
- 細長部材の周囲に止血シールを形成する方法であって、該方法は、
筐体と、前記筐体に連結するキャップと、前記筐体の中に少なくとも部分的に配置され、幅が変動する導路を形成する弾性部材と、前記筐体の中に少なくとも部分的に位置する前記弾性部材に固定されるように構成され、前記弾性部材の近位端に隣接して構造的な支持を与えるフォーム状部材とを備える止血弁アセンブリを得ることを含み、該弾性部材は、
第一直径を有する第一密封表面と、
前記第一直径より大きな第二直径を有する第一レリーフ表面と、
前記第一直径とは大きさが異なり、前記第二直径よりも小さい第三直径を有する第二密封表面と、
前記第三直径よりも大きい第四直径を有する第二レリーフ表面と、を有し、
前記第一密封表面が前記第一レリーフ表面の近位にあり、前記第一レリーフ表面が前記第二密封表面の近位にあり、前記第二密封表面が前記第二レリーフ表面の近位にあり、
前記第一密封表面は、0.25mm~0.45mmの第一高さを有し、
前記第二密封表面は、0.25mm~0.45mmの第二高さを有し、
円形凹部が前記弾性部材の近位表面の中に延びていて、前記円形凹部は、前記キャップの突出部に係合して固定され、
前記細長部材を止血弁アセンブリの中に進めることを含み、ここで、前記細長部材の一部が前記止血弁アセンブリを横切って配置されるとき、前記第一密封表面および前記第二密封表面のうち1つ以上が、前記細長部材の一部の周囲に液密性シールを形成する、方法。 - 前記細長部材が、第一直径と第二直径を有し、前記第一密封表面が、前記細長部材の前記第一直径と共に液密性シールを形成し、前記第二密封表面が、前記細長部材の前記第二直径と共に液密性シールを形成する、請求項17に記載の方法。
