Description
図1に示すように、産業車両としてのフォークリフト10には、車体11の前部に荷役装置12が設けられている。車体11の中央には、運転席13が設けられている。車体11の前下部には駆動輪(前輪)14が設けられている。車体11の後下部には操舵輪(後輪)15が設けられている。駆動輪14には、車体11に収容されるとともに、駆動輪14に対して駆動力を付与する駆動源が連結されている。
図2に示すように、車体11には燃料電池システム30及び車両システム50が搭載されている。燃料電池システム30は、燃料電池スタック31、水素タンク32、コンプレッサ33、電磁弁34、ラジエータ35、ウォータポンプ36、電子制御ユニット(以下、燃料電池システム側ECUという)37、DC/DCコンバータ38、及びキャパシタ39を有する。車両システム50は、走行モータ51、荷役モータ52、インバータ53,54、減速機55、駆動輪14、荷役ポンプ56、ティルトシリンダ19及びリフトシリンダ20を含む荷役シリンダ、及び電子制御ユニット(以下、車両側ECUという)57を有する。
図3に示すように、車体11には、作動油が貯留された作動油タンク61が搭載されている。この作動油タンク61に貯留された作動油は、荷役ポンプ56によってくみ上げられる。また、車体11には、荷役装置12を構成するティルトシリンダ19やリフトシリンダ20への作動油の供給を切り替えるコントロールバルブ62と、パワーステアリングシリンダ63への作動油の供給を切り替えるパワーステアリングバルブ64が設けられている。
・フォークリフト10の始動時における外気温が所定温度以下である。
図4に示すように、モータ駆動制御では、低温始動と判定されたか否かが判断される(ステップS1)。このステップS1において、上記の暖機制御における低温始動である条件が満たされないときには低温始動と判定されず、低温始動である条件が満たされるときには低温始動と判定される。低温始動と判定されない場合には(ステップS1:NO)、そのまま本制御が終了される。低温始動と判定される場合には(ステップS1:YES)、燃料電池システム30の暖機制御が実行されるとして、荷役モータ52に燃料電池スタック31から電力が供給される(ステップS2)。ステップS2では、暖機制御にて燃料電池スタック31の駆動を継続する上記所定時間と同時間だけ燃料電池スタック31から荷役モータ52への電力供給が継続される。
(1)荷役モータ52の駆動が暖機制御の実行中に継続されることにより、暖機制御にて燃料電池スタック31で高い電力が生じても、その電力を荷役モータ52の駆動によって消費することができるため、燃料電池スタック31で高い電力を生じさせて暖機制御を行うことができる。したがって、燃料電池システム30の暖機を早期に完了できる。
○ 暖機制御の終了の際に、燃料電池スタック31の電力量を段階を経ずに0(ゼロ)としてもよい。
○ フォークリフト10は、手動運転専用の車両であってもよいし、自動運転専用の車両であってもよいし、自動運転及び手動運転兼用の車両であってもよい。

- 車両システムに電気的に接続されるとともに、燃料電池スタックと、前記燃料電池スタックに電気的に接続されるキャパシタと、を有する燃料電池システムを備える産業車両であって、
前記車両システムは、
パワーステアリングシリンダ及び荷役シリンダの少なくともいずれか一方を含む供給対象への作動油の供給を切り替える制御弁と、
作動油タンクに貯留された作動油を前記制御弁に供給する荷役ポンプと、
前記荷役ポンプを駆動する荷役モータと、
前記制御弁から前記供給対象への作動油の供給が停止されているときに前記制御弁から前記作動油タンクに作動油を戻すリターン手段と、
前記燃料電池スタックの温度及び外気温の少なくとも一方を検出する温度検出手段と、
前記荷役モータの駆動を制御する制御手段と、を含み、
前記制御手段は、前記産業車両の始動時に前記燃料電池スタックを駆動させることにより前記燃料電池システムを暖機する暖機制御を実行するとともに、前記温度検出手段により検出された前記燃料電池スタックの温度及び外気温の少なくとも一方が0度未満である場合に低温始動と判定し、前記暖機制御が前記低温始動と判定された条件下で実行される場合には、前記燃料電池スタックの発電電力が一定値となるように前記燃料電池スタックを駆動させて前記暖機制御を実行するとともに、前記燃料電池スタックから供給される電力が消費できるよう前記荷役モータの回転数を設定することにより、前記暖機制御の実行中に前記燃料電池スタックから前記荷役モータへの電力の供給を継続することを特徴とする産業車両。 - 前記制御手段は、前記暖機制御の実行中に前記荷役モータの回転数が徐々に高くなるように前記荷役モータを駆動する請求項1に記載の産業車両。
- 前記燃料電池スタックと前記キャパシタとはDC/DCコンバータを介して接続されており、
前記制御手段は、前記キャパシタでの電圧を下回らない一定電圧で前記燃料電池スタックを駆動させて前記暖機制御を実行するとともに、前記暖機制御の実行中に前記荷役モータの回転数が前記燃料電池スタックから供給される電力量を前記荷役モータによって消費可能な回転数となるように前記荷役モータを駆動する請求項1に記載の産業車両。
