Description
Claims (8)
- 画面輝度調整方法であって、
目標輝度を決定する段階と、
前記目標輝度を実装するために点灯する必要がある画素行の量と、エミッション信号(EM信号)に含まれるパルスの量とに基づいて、前記目標輝度を実装するために必要な前記EM信号内の各パルスによって制御される画素行の量を決定する段階であって、
前記EM信号内の複数のパルスのうち第1の量のパルスによって制御される前記画素行の量は、前記EM信号内の前記複数のパルスのうち第2の量のパルスによって制御される前記画素行の量とは異なる、段階と、
前記目標輝度を実装するために必要な前記EM信号内の各パルスによって制御される画素行の前記決定された量に基づいて、現在のEM信号内の各パルスのパルス幅を決定して、前記EM信号のデューティサイクルを変更する段階であって、前記デューティサイクルは、前記EM信号によって点灯されて制御される画素行の量を反映するために使用される、段階と、
を備え、
前記第1の量のパルスのそれぞれにより制御される前記画素行は、前記第2の量のパルスのそれぞれにより制御される前記画素行と交互に配置される、方法。 - 前記方法は、さらに
前記決定された目標輝度に基づいて、前記目標輝度を実装するために点灯する必要がある画素行の量を計算する段階を備え、前記画素行の量を計算する前記段階は、
画面が有する画素行の総量を得る段階と、
前記画面が有する全ての画素行の輝度に対する前記目標輝度の比率を決定する段階と、
前記比率と前記画面が有する画素行の総量との積を計算して、前記目標輝度を実装するために点灯する必要がある画素行の量を得る段階と、
を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記目標輝度を実装するために点灯する必要がある前記画素行の量と、前記EM信号に含まれる前記パルスの量とに基づいて、前記目標輝度を実装するために必要な前記EM信号内の各パルスによって制御される画素行の量を決定する前記段階は、
前記目標輝度を実装するために点灯させる必要がある前記画素行の量と、前記EM信号に含まれる前記パルスの量との商およびモジュロを計算する段階と、
前記目標輝度を実装するために必要な前記EM信号内の各パルスを第1の部分と第2の部分とに分割する段階と、
各パルスの前記第1の部分によって制御される画素行の量を、計算によって得られた前記商と等しくする段階と、
各パルスの前記第2の部分によって制御される画素行の量の和が計算で得られた前記モジュロと等しくなるように、計算で得られた前記モジュロに基づいて各パルスの前記第2の部分で制御される前記画素行の量を割り当てる段階と、
各パルスの前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分で制御される画素行の量を加算して各パルスで制御される前記画素行の量を得る段階と、
を備える、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 各パルスの前記第2の部分によって制御される前記画素行の量において、最大値と最小値との間の差が1である、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記目標輝度の実装に必要な前記EM信号内の各パルスによって制御される画素行の前記決定された量に基づいて、現在のEM信号内の各パルスのパルス幅を決定する前記段階は、
1回の調整によって、前記現在のEM信号内の各パルスのパルス幅を、前記目標輝度の実装に必要な前記EM信号内の各パルスのパルス幅に調整する段階、または、
少なくとも2回の調整によって、前記現在のEM信号内のパルスのパルス幅を、前記目標輝度の実装に必要な前記EM信号内の各パルスの前記パルス幅に徐々に調整する段階、
を備える、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記決定された目標輝度に基づいて、前記目標輝度を実装するために点灯する必要がある画素行の量を計算した後に、前記方法はさらに、
前記目標輝度を実装するために点灯する必要がある前記画素行の量が、前記EM信号に含まれる前記パルスの量よりも少ない場合に、前記EM信号の前記デューティサイクルを変更するために、前記EM信号のパルスの量を調整する段階を備える、
請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 装置であって、
ディスプレイと、
少なくとも1つのプロセッサと、
前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサに連結されプログラミング命令を記憶するメモリと、を備え、前記少なくとも1つのプロセッサによって実行される場合、前記装置に請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実行させる、装置。 - ディスプレイを備える装置のプロセッサに、請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実行させるためのコンピュータプログラム。
