Description
照射対象25が患者である場合に、照射計画装置41により作成した照射パラメータ、照射対象設置情報およびガントリー角度を使用して、患部である照射標的26に対して線量分布を形成する手順について、図8を用いて説明する。図8は二つの方向から粒子線を照射する場合の例である。
なお、本発明は上記の実施例に限られず、種々の変形、応用が可能なものである。上述した実施例は本発明を分かりやすく説明するために詳細に説明したものであり、必ずしも説明した全ての構成を備えるものに限定されない。

Claims (12)
- 荷電粒子ビームを生成して出射する加速器と、
前記荷電粒子ビームを照射標的に向けて照射する照射装置と、
前記照射装置と共に回転するガントリーと、
前記ガントリーと共に回転するMRI装置と、を備え、
前記MRI装置は、鉄心および磁束発生源である複数のコイルからなる磁気回路を有し、
前記鉄心は、対向配置された2つの磁極と磁極同士を接続する部材で構成され、
前記磁極のうち少なくとも1つは空洞を有しており、
前記荷電粒子ビームを前記空洞を通過させて前記照射標的に照射し、
前記MRI装置は、前記ガントリーの回転軸の方向に移動できる
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 荷電粒子ビームを生成して出射する加速器と、
前記荷電粒子ビームを照射標的に向けて照射する照射装置と、
前記照射装置と共に回転するガントリーと、
前記ガントリーと共に回転するMRI装置と、を備え、
前記MRI装置は、鉄心および磁束発生源である複数のコイルからなる磁気回路を有し、
前記鉄心は、対向配置された2つの磁極と磁極同士を接続する部材を有し、
前記MRI装置は、前記ガントリーの回転軸の方向に移動できる
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記MRI装置からの信号に基づき、前記荷電粒子ビームの照射のON/OFFを制御する制御装置を更に備えた
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記MRI装置からの信号に基づき、前記荷電粒子ビームの照射前の位置合わせを行う制御装置を更に備えた
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記荷電粒子ビームの進行方向と前記MRI装置が生成する磁場の向きとが平行である
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記照射標的を透視するX線を発生させるX線発生装置と、前記X線発生装置で発生させた前記X線を検出するX線検出器を更に備えた
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項6に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記X線発生装置と前記X線検出器とを結ぶ直線は、前記MRI装置が生成する磁場の向きと直交する
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項6に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記MRI装置の励磁タイミングを前記X線発生装置の使用後とする
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。
- 請求項1または2に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記MRI装置は、前記MRI装置からの信号を用いないとき、または前記ガントリー内で移動するとき、消磁できる
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記対向配置された磁極は、同じ位置に同じ形状の前記空洞を有している
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記加速器はシンクロトロン、サイクロトロン、シンクロサイクロトロンのいずれかである
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。 - 請求項1または2に記載の粒子線治療システムにおいて、
前記照射装置はスキャニング照射できる
ことを特徴とする粒子線治療システム。
