Description
本出願は、2016年12月6日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/430,576号の利益を主張し、その開示は、その全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。

本開示は、薬送達デバイスに関連する使用状況およびパラメータを検知、追跡、および/または、処理するためのデバイス、システム、および、方法を説明する。デバイス、システム、および、方法は、ユーザの肺に薬剤を送達するための呼吸作動式吸入デバイスと関連付けて説明される。しかし、説明された解決策は、注射器、定量吸入器、ネブライザー、経皮パッチ、または、移植可能物などの他の薬送達デバイスに等しく適用可能である。

Claims (20)
- 吸入器であって、前記吸入器は:
マウスピースと、マウスピースカバーと、レバーと、薬剤用のフレキシブルストリップとを備えるボディ;および、
電源と、センサシステムと、スイッチとを備える電子モジュール;を備え、
前記電子モジュールは、ユーザが前記レバーを第1の位置から第2の位置に初めて動かす前に、オフ状態にあるように構成され;
前記レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に初めて動かされるとき、前記レバーは、前記スイッチと係合して、前記電子モジュールを前記オフ状態からアクティブ状態に移行させ前記電子モジュールに前記ユーザによる前記マウスピースからの吸入を検知させるように構成され;および、
前記電子モジュールは、前記レバーが前記ユーザによって前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に初めて動かされた後、前記オフ状態に戻らないように構成されている、
吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記オフ状態から移行するときに内部カウンタをスタートさせるように構成されている、
請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記内部カウンタに基づいて、検知された吸入または前記レバーの運動をタイムスタンプするように構成されている、
請求項2に記載の吸入器。 - 前記レバーは、当該レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動かされるとき、前記フレキシブルストリップ上の1用量の薬剤を前進させるようにさらに構成されている、
請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記マウスピースカバーは、閉位置にあるときに前記レバーを覆いかつ開位置にあるときにユーザによるアクチュエートのために前記レバーを露出させるように構成されており、前記マウスピースカバーは、前記吸入器の前記ボディの周縁の周りに回転可能である、
請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記ボディは楕円形状であり、前記レバーは前記マウスピースカバーの一部であり、前記レバーは、前記マウスピースカバーがユーザによって閉位置から開位置に動かされて前記マウスピースを露出させるときに、前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動くように構成されている、
請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記ボディは、異なる薬剤を備える薬剤用の第2フレキシブルストリップをさらに備え;および、
前記レバーは、前記フレキシブルストリップおよび前記第2フレキシブルストリップからの薬剤が前記マウスピースを通して前記ユーザに利用可能になるように、当該レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動くときに前記フレキシブルストリップおよび前記第2フレキシブルストリップを前進させるようにさらに構成されている、
請求項6に記載の吸入器。 - 前記センサシステムは、前記レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動かされた後に、前記吸入器内の少なくとも1つの気圧を測定するように構成された圧力センサを備える、
請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記圧力センサは、所定の期間、または、所定のイベントが検出されるまで、測定を行うように構成されている、
請求項8に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、測定された前記少なくとも1つの気圧に基づいて、吸入パラメータを割り出すように構成されたプロセッサをさらに含む、

前記レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動かされた後、前記吸入器内の1つまたは複数の気圧を測定すること;
測定された少なくとも1つの前記気圧に基づいて吸入パラメータを割り出すこと;
前記吸入パラメータをローカルメモリに格納すること;
外部デバイスに通知すること;または、
前記吸入パラメータを前記外部デバイスに送信すること、

請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記オフ状態または前記アクティブ状態にないとき、スリープ状態にあるように構成されている、
請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、圧力センサから受信した1つまたは複数の気圧測定値が、所定の時間の間、前記所定の範囲内に入らないと当該電子モジュールが判定すると、前記アクティブ状態から前記スリープ状態に変化するように構成されており、前記所定の時間は、内部カウンタに基づいている、
請求項14に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動かされ、かつ、前記1つまたは複数の気圧測定値が前記所定の時間内に前記所定の範囲内にないとき、タイムアウトイベントおよび関連するタイムスタンプを格納するように構成されている、
請求項15に記載の吸入器。 - 前記電子モジュールは、前記レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動かされた後、所定の時間に、前記アクティブ状態からスリープ状態に変化するように構成されている、
請求項1に記載の吸入器。 - 電子モジュールを備える吸入器のための動作の方法であって、
当該方法は、
ユーザがレバーを第1の位置から第2の位置に初めて動かす前に、前記電子モジュールをオフ状態に維持すること;
前記レバーが前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に動かされるときにスイッチをアクチュエートすること、マウスピースカバーは、前記レバーを露出させるために前記吸入器のボディの周りに回転可能であり;および、
前記スイッチがアクチュエートされるとき、前記電子モジュールを前記オフ状態からアクティブ状態に移行させること;を備え、
前記電子モジュールは、前記レバーが前記ユーザによって前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置に初めて動かされた後、前記オフ状態に戻らないように構成されている、
方法。 - 前記オフ状態から移行させるときに、前記電子モジュール内のプロセッサを介して内部カウンタをスタートさせること;および、
前記内部カウンタに基づいて、検知された吸入または前記レバーの運動をタイムスタンプすること、をさらに備える、
請求項18に記載の方法。 - 前記電子モジュールのセンサを介して、前記吸入器内の複数の気圧を測定すること;および、
前記電子モジュールを介して、測定された前記複数の気圧に基づいて、吸入パラメータを割り出すこと、をさらに備え、前記吸入パラメータは、ピーク流量、ピーク流量までの時間、吸入された体積、または、吸入持続時間のうち1つまたは複数を備える、
