Description
-0.5μm~20.0μmの範囲に含まれる数平均径(d50)について6.0~20.0の範囲(両限界値を含む)に含まれるピーク幅(2σ)を特徴とする粒径分布を有するLSXゼオライト結晶に基づき、
-1.00~1.15の範囲(両限界値を含む)に含まれるSi/Al原子比を有し、
-Li2Oの重量で表されるリチウム含有量が、ゼオライト吸着材料の全重量に対して9重量%~12重量%の範囲に含まれ、及び
-非ゼオライト相(NZP)が、ゼオライト吸着材料の全重量に対して0<NZP≦8重量%となるような含有量で含まれる。
%NZP=100-%ZPであり、%NZPはゼオライト吸着材料の全重量に対する、非ゼオライト相の重量百分率を表し、%ZPはゼオライト相の重量百分率を表す。
・規格ASTM 7084-04に従って測定されたバルク破砕強度(BCS)が、体積平均直径(d50)、または1mm未満の長さ(材料が球形ではない場合の最大寸法)の材料に対して、1.5MPa以上、好ましくは2.0MPa以上、好ましくは2.5MPa以上である。
・規格ASTM D 4179(2011)及びASTM D 6175(2013)に従って測定された粒子破砕強度が、体積平均直径(d50)または1mm以上の長さ(材料が球形ではない場合の最大寸法)の材料に対して、0.5daN以上30daN以下、好ましくは1daN以上20daN以下の範囲に含まれる。
a/凝集バインダー及びシリカ源を用いてLSXゼオライト結晶を凝集させ、その後、凝集した結晶を成形し、乾燥させ、焼成する
b/塩基性アルカリ溶液の作用によるバインダーのゼオライト化
c/工程b/で得られた生成物の交換可能な部位のカチオンの大部分をリチウムカチオンで置換し、続いて、このように処理された生成物を洗浄し、乾燥させる
及び
d/任意の乾燥、及び得られたゼオライト吸着材料の活性化。
・ 40kV~30mAで使用されるCu管;
・ スリットサイズ(発散スリット、散乱スリット、分析スリット)=0.6mm;
・ フィルター:Ni;
・ 15rpm-1で回転する試料装置;
・ 測定範囲:3°<2θ<50°;
・ 増分:0.02°;
・ 1増分当たりの計数時間:2秒。
実施例3:圧力スイング吸着(PSA)を有する吸着剤の固定床でのN2/O2分離試験
N2/O2分離試験は、EAlpay et al、Chemical Engineering Science、49(18)、3059-3075、(1994)による「急速圧力スイング吸着による空気の分離における吸着剤粒径の影響」に提示された原理に従い、単一カラムにおいて吸着させることによって行われる。
Claims (12)
- PSA、VPSAまたはVSA法における、工業用ガス中のN 2 /O 2 分離のための、並びに/或いは医療用酸素を製造するための装置におけるN 2 /O 2 分離のためのゼオライト吸着材料であって、
-4.0μm~15.0μmの範囲に含まれる数平均径(d50)について8.0~18.0の範囲(両限界値を含む)に含まれるピーク幅(2σ)を特徴とする粒径分布を有するLSXゼオライト結晶に基づき、ここで数平均径(d50)は走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)により求められ、
-1.00~1.15の範囲(両限界値を含む)に含まれるSi/Al原子比を有し、
-Li2Oの重量で表されるリチウム含有量が、ゼオライト吸着材料の全重量に対して9重量%~12重量%の範囲に含まれ、及び
-非ゼオライト相(NZP)が、ゼオライト吸着材料の全重量に対して0<NZP≦8重量%となるような含有量で含まれる、
ゼオライト吸着材料。 - 非ゼオライト相(NZP)の量が、ゼオライト吸着材料の全重量に対して0.5重量%≦NZP≦4重量%である、請求項1に記載の材料。
- 0.05mm~5mmの間(両限界値を含む)の体積平均径を有するビーズの形態であり、ここで体積平均径はISO 13322-2及びISO 9276-2に従って求められる、
請求項1または2に記載の材料。 - 0.58kg/m-3~0.80kg/m-3の範囲に含まれる見掛け密度を有する、請求項1~3のいずれかに記載の材料。
- 請求項1~4のいずれかに記載のゼオライト吸着材料の製造方法であって、以下の工程、
a)凝集バインダー及びシリカ源を用いてLSXゼオライト結晶を凝集し、続いて凝集した結晶を成形し、乾燥させ、及び焼成する工程、
b)塩基性アルカリ溶液の作用により前記バインダーをゼオライト化する工程、
c)工程b)で得られた生成物の交換可能部位のカチオンの大部分をリチウムカチオンで置換し、続いて、このように処理された生成物を洗浄し、及び乾燥させる工程、並びに、
d)任意に乾燥させ、及び得られたゼオライト吸着材料を300℃~600℃で1~6時間加熱して活性化する工程
を含む、方法。 - 工程a)の終わりにおいて、LSXゼオライト結晶の重量が、工程a)の終わりで得られた前記生成物の総重量に対して75重量%~90重量%の範囲に含まれ、及び、ゼオライト化可能なクレーの量が、工程a)の終わりで得られた前記生成物の総重量に対して5重量%~25重量%の範囲に含まれる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- シリカ源が存在する場合には、工程a)の終わりにおいて、シリカ源が、工程a)の終わりで得られた前記生成物の総重量に対して0.1重量%~10重量%に相当する量となるように添加される、請求項5または6に記載の方法。
- 前記凝集バインダーが、少なくとも80重量%のゼオライト化可能なクレーを含み、前記ゼオライト化可能なクレーが、カオリナイト、ハロイサイト、ナクライト、ディッカイト、カオリン及びメタカオリンからなる群から選択される少なくとも一員である、請求項5~7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 本願発明の前記ゼオライト吸着材料のリチウム含有量(酸化リチウムLi2Oとして表される)が、前記ゼオライト吸着材料の全重量に対して9重量%~12重量%であるように、リチウム交換が行われる、請求項5~8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- PSA、VPSAまたはVSAにおける、工業用ガス中のN2/O2分離のための吸着方法、並びに/或いは医療用酸素を製造するための装置におけるN2/O2分離のための吸着方法における、請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の材料の使用。
- 請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1つのゼオライト吸着材料を含む、ゼオライト吸着剤の消耗品カートリッジ。
- 請求項1~4のいずれかに記載の少なくとも1つのゼオライト吸着材料を含む、可搬式、及び/または可動式の呼吸補助のための酸素濃縮器。
