Description
生体を構成する組織には圧電性を有するものが多い。例えば、人体を構成するコラーゲンは、タンパク質の一種であり、血管、真皮、じん帯、健、骨、又は軟骨等に多く含まれている。コラーゲンは、圧電体であり、コラーゲンが配向した組織は非常に大きな圧電性を示す場合がある。骨の圧電性については既に多くの報告がなされている(例えば、深田栄一,生体高分子の圧電気、高分子Vol.16(1967)No.9 p795-800等を参照)。従って、第1圧電繊維31又は第2圧電繊維32を備えた抗菌フィルタにより電場が生じ、該電場が交番するか、又は該電場の強度が変化すると、生体の圧電体は、逆圧電効果によって振動を生じる。第1圧電繊維31及び/又は第2圧電繊維32によって生じる交番電場、あるいは電場強度の変化により、生体の一部、例えば毛細血管や真皮に微小な振動が加えられ、その部分の血流の改善を促すことができる。これにより皮膚疾患や傷等の治癒が促される可能性がある。従って、抗菌フィルタ101~106は、生体作用圧電繊維製品として機能する。
上述したように、第1圧電繊維31は、外力が係った場合に、負の電荷を生じる。第2圧電繊維32は、外力が係った場合に、正の電荷を生じる。そのため、第1圧電繊維31は、正の電荷を有する物質(例えば花粉等の粒子)を吸着する性質を有し、第2圧電繊維32は、負の電荷を有する物質(例えば黄砂等の有害物質等)を吸着する。従って、第1圧電繊維31及び第2圧電繊維32を備えた抗菌フィルタ103~106は、例えばマスク等の医療用品、又は、空調機若しくは空気清浄機等のフィルタに適用した場合に、花粉及び黄砂等の微粒子を吸着することができる。以下に、例を挙げ説明する。

- 伸縮により電位を生じる第1圧電繊維と第2圧電繊維とを含むフィルタを有し、
前記第1圧電繊維の撚り数と前記第2圧電繊維の撚り数とが異なることにより、前記第1圧電繊維から生じる電位と前記第2圧電繊維から生じる電位とは異なっている、抗菌マスク。 - 伸縮により電位を生じる第1圧電繊維と第2圧電繊維とを含むフィルタを有し、
前記第1圧電繊維のフィラメント数と前記第2圧電繊維のフィラメント数とが異なることにより、前記第1圧電繊維から生じる電位と前記第2圧電繊維から生じる電位とは異なっている、抗菌マスク。 - 伸縮により電位を生じる第1圧電繊維と第2圧電繊維とを含むフィルタを有し、
前記第1圧電繊維のフィラメント径と前記第2圧電繊維のフィラメント径とが異なることにより、前記第1圧電繊維から生じる電位と前記第2圧電繊維から生じる電位とは異なっている、抗菌マスク。 - 伸縮により電位を生じる第1圧電繊維と第2圧電繊維とを含むフィルタを有し、
前記第1圧電繊維の圧電定数と前記第2圧電繊維の圧電定数とが異なることにより、前記第1圧電繊維から生じる電位と前記第2圧電繊維から生じる電位とは異なっている、抗菌マスク。 - 伸縮により電位を生じる第1圧電繊維と第2圧電繊維とを含むフィルタを有し、

- 前記フィルタは、編地であることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項11のいずれかに記載の抗菌マスク。
- 前記フィルタは、電荷を発生しない糸を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項12のいずれかに記載の抗菌マスク。
- 前記フィルタは、圧電糸が撚られてなる前記第1圧電繊維及び前記第2圧電繊維を含む織物であることを特徴とする、請求項1ないし請求項13のいずれかに記載の抗菌マスク。
- 前記フィルタは、粗メッシュ部と細メッシュ部とを有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項14のいずれかに記載の抗菌マスク。
