Description
雄コンタクトと、該雄コンタクトと雌コンタクトのうちの該雄コンタクトのみを収容した第1インナハウジングと、第1シール部材とを有し、該第1インナハウジングが、該第1シール部材を互いの間に挟んで互いに分離された第1前側ハウジングと第1後側ハウジングとからなる第1副組立体、および該雄コンタクトと組み合う雌コンタクトと、該雌コンタクトと雄コンタクトのうちの該雌コンタクトのみを収容した、上記第1インナハウジングと同一形状の第2インナハウジングと、上記第1シール部材と同一形状の第2シール部材とを有し、第2インナハウジングが、互いの間に、第2シール部材を互いの間に挟んで互いに分離された第2前側ハウジングと第2後側ハウジングとからなる第2副組立体のうちの第1副組立体と、第1副組立体および第2副組立体のいずれをも収容可能な形状であって第1副組立体が収容された第1アウタハウジングとを有する第1コネクタ、並びに
上記第2副組立体と、第1副組立体および第2副組立体のいずれをも収容可能かつ上記第1アウタハウジングとは異形な形状であって第2副組立体が収容された第2アウタハウジングとを有し、上記第1コネクタと組み合う第2コネクタを備えたことを特徴とする。
ここで、本発明のコネクタ組立体において、上記第1アウタハウジングが、プラグハウジングおよびレセプタクルハウジングのうちの一方のアウタハウジングであり、上記第2アウタハウジングが、プラグハウジングおよびレセプタクルハウジングのうちの、該一方のアウタハウジングと組み合う他方のアウタハウジングであってもよい。
第1副組立体乃至第4副組立体がシール部材を備えることにより防水型のコネクタ組立体が実現する。また、そのシール部材を第1副組立体乃至第4副組立体のシール部材を同一形状とすることにより、部品の種類も減り、またアウタハウジングとの組合せも良好となる。

Claims (2)
- 雄コンタクトと、該雄コンタクトと雌コンタクトのうちの該雄コンタクトのみを収容した第1インナハウジングと、第1シール部材とを有し、該第1インナハウジングが、該第1シール部材を互いの間に挟んで互いに分離された第1前側ハウジングと第1後側ハウジングとからなる第1副組立体、および該雄コンタクトと組み合う雌コンタクトと、該雌コンタクトと雄コンタクトのうちの該雌コンタクトのみを収容した、前記第1インナハウジングと同一形状の第2インナハウジングと、前記第1シール部材と同一形状の第2シール部材とを有し、該第2インナハウジングが、互いの間に、該第2シール部材を互いの間に挟んで互いに分離された第2前側ハウジングと第2後側ハウジングとからなる第2副組立体のうちの該第1副組立体と、該第1副組立体および該第2副組立体のいずれをも収容可能な形状であって該第1副組立体が収容された第1アウタハウジングとを有する第1コネクタ、並びに
前記第2副組立体と、前記第1副組立体および該第2副組立体のいずれをも収容可能かつ前記第1アウタハウジングとは異形な形状であって該第2副組立体が収容された第2アウタハウジングとを有し、前記第1コネクタと組み合う第2コネクタを備えたことを特徴とするコネクタ組立体。 - 前記第1アウタハウジングが、プラグハウジングおよびレセプタクルハウジングのうちの一方のアウタハウジングであり、前記第2アウタハウジングが、プラグハウジングおよびレセプタクルハウジングのうちの、該一方のアウタハウジングと組み合う他方のアウタハウジングであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のコネクタ組立体。
