Claims (17)
- ポンプ冷却システムであって、
冷却体であって、ポンプハウジングに取り付けられて当該冷却体とポンプハウジングとの間の熱伝導経路を介して前記ポンプハウジングから熱を受け取り、使用時に前記冷却体から離れるように熱を導く冷却流体が通る通路を有する冷却体と、
所定の温度を下回るポンプ動作温度において前記熱伝導経路に間隙をもたらすことによって前記ポンプハウジングから前記冷却体への熱伝導を遮断することができるように構成された冷却制御機構と、
を備えることを特徴とするポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記冷却制御機構は、使用時に前記冷却体と前記ポンプハウジングとの間に配置される空間を含み、当該空間は、使用時に前記冷却体及び前記ポンプハウジングの少なくとも一方に対して相対的移動するように動き、前記間隙を開閉することができる熱伝導体を収容する、
請求項1に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記冷却制御機構は、前記冷却体を前記ポンプハウジングに固定する固定部材をさらに含み、
前記熱伝導体は、前記冷却体と前記ポンプハウジングとの間の前記空間内に固定されて、熱膨張及び熱収縮による前記相対的移動を可能にし、
前記熱伝導体及び前記固定部材は、それぞれの熱膨張係数を有し、
前記熱伝導体の前記熱膨張係数は前記固定部材の前記熱膨張係数よりも大きく、これによって使用時に前記動作温度が前記所定の温度を上回った時に、前記熱伝導体の膨張によって前記熱伝導経路の前記間隙が閉じて、前記熱伝導経路を介した前記ポンプハウジングから前記冷却体への熱の伝導を可能にする、
請求項2に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記冷却制御機構は、前記所定の温度を下回る動作温度において前記間隙を維持する付勢力をもたらすように構成された少なくとも1つの弾性付勢部材をさらに含む、
請求項3に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記固定部材は、前記冷却体に係合する第1の横断面と、前記ポンプハウジングに係合する第2の横断面とを含み、前記第1及び第2の横断面間に定められる距離が、前記ポンプハウジングと前記冷却体との間の距離を定め、前記熱伝導体は、前記所定の温度を下回る温度において、前記間隙をもたらすように前記ポンプハウジングと前記冷却体との間の距離よりも小さな厚みを有する、
請求項3に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記熱伝導体は液体を含み、前記ポンプ冷却システムは、前記液体を前記冷却体及びポンプハウジングに対して移動させるアクチュエータをさらに備える、
請求項2に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記液体は磁性液体であり、前記アクチュエータは少なくとも1つの電磁石などの磁石を含む、
請求項6に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記冷却制御機構は、前記ポンプハウジングに対して前記冷却体を移動させることができる少なくとも1つの動力アクチュエータを含む、
請求項1に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの動力アクチュエータは、
i)前記冷却体に接続された少なくとも1つの流体作動式シリンダ、又は、
ii)少なくとも1つの電磁石、
の少なくとも一方を含む、請求項8に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの動力アクチュエータは、前記冷却体を第1の方向に移動させることができ、前記ポンプ冷却システムは、前記冷却体を前記第1の方向とは逆の第2の方向に付勢する少なくとも1つの弾性付勢要素をさらに備える、
請求項8に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記冷却制御機構は、加圧ガスを含む圧力チャンバを含み、前記加圧ガスは、使用時に前記圧力チャンバを選択的に加圧して前記間隙の開閉を制御する、
請求項1に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記圧力チャンバは、前記冷却体と前記ポンプハウジングとの間に配置され、前記圧力チャンバに少なくとも1つの導管が延び、該少なくとも1つの導管を介して、前記圧力チャンバを、i)前記間隙の閉鎖及び前記間隙の開放の一方を引き起こすように排気し、ii)前記間隙の閉鎖及び前記間隙の開放の他方を引き起こすように加圧する、ことができる、
請求項11に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 使用時に前記圧力チャンバを加圧ガス源及び真空源の少なくとも一方に接続して前記圧力チャンバを選択的に加圧する弁をさらに含む、
請求項11に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - 前記間隙を開く方向に前記冷却体を付勢する少なくとも1つの付勢部材をさらに含む、
請求項11に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - コントローラ及び少なくとも1つの温度センサをさらに備え、前記コントローラは、前記少なくとも1つの温度センサによって供給された信号に基づく決定に応答して、前記間隙を開閉する前記冷却制御機構の動作を引き起こす信号を供給するように構成される、
請求項6に記載のポンプ冷却システム。 - ポンプであって、
ポンプハウジング、及び該ポンプハウジング内に配置されたポンピング機構と、
冷却体及び冷却制御機構を含むポンプ冷却システムと、
を備え、
前記冷却体は、前記ポンプハウジングから熱伝導経路を介して熱を受け取るとともに、使用時に前記冷却体から離れるように熱を導く冷却流体が通る通路を含み、
前記冷却制御機構は、所定の温度を下回るポンプ動作温度において前記ポンプハウジングと前記冷却体との間の前記熱伝導経路に間隙をもたらすことによって前記ポンプハウジングから前記冷却体への熱伝導を遮断できるように構成される、
ことを特徴とするポンプ。 - 前記ポンプは真空ポンプである、
