Description
陽極及び陰極の間に分離膜が介装された構造になり、厚さが10mmであるスタック型電極組立体を電池ケースに収納し、上部ケース及び下部ケースの外周辺が一致するように位置させる。前記電池ケースは上部ケース及び下部ケースに電極組立体収納部が形成された構造であり、前記電極組立体は陽極端子及び陰極端子が互いに異なる方向に突出した構造を有する。

Claims (10)
- パウチ型二次電池のシーリングのためのシーリングブロックであって、
電極端子が突出する外周辺及びこれに平行な電池ケースの外周辺を加熱及び/又は加圧シーリングする本体部、及び前記本体部の一側面に垂直な方向に結合され、電極組立体収納部のラウンドコーナー部に対応する曲面構造を含むしわ防止部から構成され、
前記しわ防止部は、前記本体部と前記しわ防止部の前記曲面構造を連結する延長部を含み、
前記しわ防止部は、ガスが排出される収納部外周辺の両側端コーナー部に位置する構造であるシーリングブロック。 - 前記本体部は、平面上で長方形の外面を含む四角柱形を成している、請求項1に記載のシーリングブロック。
- 前記延長部は、前記本体部から突出して前記電極組立体収納部のラウンドコーナー部まで延びる構造である、請求項1または2に記載のシーリングブロック。
- 前記シーリングブロックは、電極端子が突出する方向に平行な電池ケースの一側外周辺上に前記本体部が位置する第1ブロック、及び前記一側外周辺に平行な他側外周辺上に前記本体部が位置する第2ブロックから構成され、
前記第1ブロックと第2ブロックとは互いに対称状となっている、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載のシーリングブロック。 - 前記シーリングブロックは、前記第1ブロック及び第2ブロックを連結する第3ブロックをさらに含む、請求項4に記載のシーリングブロック。
- 前記第3ブロックは前記第1ブロック及び第2ブロックとは独立した形態に構成され、あるいは前記第1ブロック及び第2ブロックと結合された形態に構成される、請求項5に記載のシーリングブロック。
- 請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のシーリングブロックを用いて製造されるパウチ型電池ケースであって、
前記電池ケースは、上部ケース及び下部ケースの少なくとも一つに電極組立体収納部が形成されており、
前記電極組立体収納部の一側外周辺にはガス排出用未シーリング部が形成され、
前記ガス排出用未シーリング部が形成された外周辺の両側端として、前記電極組立体収納部の外周辺コーナー部の曲率半径に対応する大きさの曲率半径を有するシーリング部が形成された、パウチ型電池ケース。 - 前記シーリング部は前記電極組立体収納部の外周辺コーナー部の境界まで隣接して形成される、請求項7に記載のパウチ型電池ケース。
- パウチ型電池ケースのシーリング方法であって、
(a)電極組立体を収納した後、電極組立体収納部が形成された上部ケース及び下部ケースの外周辺が一致するように位置させる段階と、
(b)前記上部ケースの上面の上に及び下部ケースの下面の下に請求項4~6のいずれか一項に記載のシーリングブロックを電極組立体収納部のコーナー部と接するように位置させる段階と、
(c)前記シーリングブロックを加熱及び/又は加圧して電池ケースを密封する段階と、
を含む、パウチ型電池ケースのシーリング方法。 - 前記段階(b)は、電極端子が突出する方向に平行な電池ケースの一側外周辺上に第1ブロックの本体部を位置させ、前記一側外周辺に平行な他側外周辺上に第2ブロックの本体部を位置させる、請求項9に記載のパウチ型電池ケースのシーリング方法。
