Claims (7)
- 電極集電体の上に電極活物質スラリーをコーティングするスロットダイコーターであって、
下部吐出口を備える下部ダイと、
前記下部ダイの上部に配置され、上部吐出口を備える上部ダイと、を含み、
前記下部ダイの上面と前記上部ダイの下面とは、少なくとも一部がスライド面を形成するように相互接触し、前記上部ダイと下部ダイとはいずれか一方が前記スライド面に沿ってスライドされ、水平方向へ相対的な移動が可能となるように設けられ、
前記下部ダイが、第1ダイブロックと、前記第1ダイブロックの上部に位置する第2ダイブロックと、前記第1ダイブロックと前記第2ダイブロックとの間に介され、前記第1ダイブロックと前記第2ダイブロックとの間に前記下部吐出口が形成されるようにする第1スペーサーと、を含み、
前記上部ダイが、第3ダイブロックと、前記第3ダイブロックの上部に位置する第4ダイブロックと、前記第3ダイブロックと前記第4ダイブロックとの間に介され、前記第3ダイブロックと前記第4ダイブロックとの間に前記上部吐出口が形成されるようにする第2スペーサーと、を含み、
前記第2ダイブロックが第1平坦部及び前記第1平坦部から所定の角度で延びる第1傾斜部を備え、
前記第3ダイブロックが第2平坦部及び前記第2平坦部から所定の角度で延びる第2傾斜部を備えることを特徴とするスロットダイコーター。 - 前記上部吐出口は、前記下部吐出口よりも所定の距離だけ後方に位置することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスロットダイコーター。
- 前記下部吐出口の吐出方向と前記上部吐出口の吐出方向が、30°~60°の角度を成すことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のスロットダイコーター。
- 前記第1ダイブロックが、第1電極活物質スラリーを収容する第1スラリー収容部を備え、
前記第3ダイブロックが、第2電極活物質スラリーを収容する第2スラリー収容部を備えることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のスロットダイコーター。 - 前記第1スペーサーが、該第1スペーサーの一側に形成された第1開放部を備え、前記第2スペーサーが、該第2スペーサーの一側に形成された第2開放部を備え、
前記第1開放部が前記第1スラリー収容部と連通し、前記第2開放部が前記第2スラリー収容部と連通することを特徴とする請求項4に記載のスロットダイコーター。 - 前記第1平坦部及び前記第2平坦部は、相互平行な方向へ延びて相互対向して面接触し、前記第1傾斜部及び前記第2傾斜部は、相互平行な方向へ延びて相互対向して面接触することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のスロットダイコーター。
- 前記第1平坦部の第1開放部側の端部と前記第2平坦部の第2開放部側の端部との間には、所定の段差が形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のスロットダイコーター。
