前記トレッド部の子午線断面におけるトレッドラジアスがタイヤ外径の80%~140%であり、前記トレッド部の接地幅がタイヤ断面幅の66%~83%であり、前記ビード部のビードコアの外周上に配置されるビードフィラーの高さがタイヤ断面高さの40%以下であり、タイヤ最大幅位置がタイヤ断面高さの52%~56%の範囲にあることを特徴とするものである。

試験タイヤをリムサイズ16×6.0Jのホイールに組み付けて排気量1500ccの前輪駆動車に装着し、空気圧を180kPaとし、2名乗車相当の荷重条件で、氷路面からなるテストコースにおいて速度20km/hでの走行状態からABS制動を行い、その制動距離を測定した。評価結果は、計測値の逆数を用い、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど氷上制動性能が優れていることを意味する。
試験タイヤをリムサイズ16×6.0Jのホイールに組み付けて転がり抵抗試験機に装着し、空気圧230kPa、荷重4.5kN、速度80km/hの条件にて30分間の予備走行を行った後、同条件にて転がり抵抗を測定した。評価結果は、測定値の逆数を用い、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど転がり抵抗が小さいことを意味する。

Claims (3)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ外径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備え、該一対のビード部間にカーカス層が装架され、前記トレッド部がキャップトレッドゴム層とアンダートレッドゴム層との積層構造を有すると共に、前記トレッド部に溝及びサイプが形成され、これら溝及びサイプに基づくスノートラクションインデックスSTIが180以上である空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記トレッド部の子午線断面におけるトレッドラジアスがタイヤ外径の80%~140%であり、前記トレッド部の接地幅がタイヤ断面幅の66%~83%であり、前記ビード部のビードコアの外周上に配置されるビードフィラーの高さがタイヤ断面高さの40%以下であり、タイヤ最大幅位置がタイヤ断面高さの52%~56%の範囲にあることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - タイヤ最大幅位置における前記カーカス層より外側のゴム厚さが1mm~4mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記カーカス層が前記ビードコアの廻りにタイヤ内側から外側へ巻き上げられており、該カーカス層の巻き上げ高さがタイヤ断面高さの10%~40%であることを特徴とする請求項1~2のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
