Description

Claims (11)
- 基部とキャップとを有するハウジングであって、前記キャップが、表面を貫通して延びるファスナの一部を覆うように構成されており、前記ハウジングが、前記表面を吸引するように構成されている、ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングから前記ハウジングの内部へと延びる幾つかのセルフロックフランジであって、前記ファスナのねじ山のない部分に係合して、前記ハウジングを前記ファスナに対して定位置に保持する、幾つかのセルフロックフランジと、
を含み、
前記ハウジングは、前記基部が加熱されると前記基部を前記表面に接合するように構成された熱可塑性エラストマ材料で形成されている、装置。 - 前記表面を貫通して延びている前記ファスナを更に含み、前記ハウジングが、前記表面から延びる前記ファスナの端部を覆うように位置決めされる、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングと前記表面との間の空間が、前記ハウジングの外側の気圧よりも低い気圧を有する、請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記幾つかのセルフロックフランジが前記ファスナに係合し、前記ハウジングを前記ファスナに対してセンタリングする、請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングの前記基部と前記表面との間の接着剤を更に含む、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングが、電磁的事象により生じるエネルギーから前記ファスナを保護するように選択されたポリマー材料で形成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 表面を貫通して延びるファスナを封止する方法であって、
基部とキャップとを含むハウジングを、前記ハウジングの一部が前記ファスナの一部に合うように、前記ファスナの端部上に押し付けること、
前記ハウジングが前記表面にもたらす吸引によって、前記ハウジングを前記ファスナ上で保持すること、及び
前記基部の熱可塑性エラストマ材料が前記表面に接合するように、前記基部を加熱すること
を含み、
幾つかのセルフロックフランジが、前記ハウジングから前記ハウジングの内部へと延び、前記ハウジングを前記ファスナの前記端部上に押し付けることが、前記幾つかのセルフロックフランジが前記ファスナのねじ山のない部分に係合するように前記ハウジングを付けることを含む、方法。 - 前記ハウジングの前記基部に接着剤を塗布することを更に含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記ハウジングと前記表面との間の前記接着剤が硬化する間、前記吸引が前記ハウジングを前記ファスナに対して保持する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記ハウジングと前記表面との間の接着剤が硬化する間、前記ファスナに係合する前記幾つかのセルフロックフランジが、前記ハウジングを前記ファスナに対して保持する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 表面を貫通して延びるファスナを封止する方法であって、
基部とキャップとを含むハウジングを、前記ハウジングの一部が前記ファスナの一部に合うように、前記ファスナの端部上に押し付けること、
前記ハウジングが前記表面にもたらす吸引によって、前記ハウジングを前記ファスナ上で保持すること、及び
前記基部の熱可塑性エラストマ材料が前記表面に接合するように、前記基部を加熱すること
を含む、方法。
