Claims (12)
- 放射線検出装置であって、
ハウジングと、
放射線の吸収に応答してシンチレーション光を放出するシンチレータと、
前記シンチレーション光の受光に応答して電子パルスを生成する1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管と、
光カプラと、を備え、前記光カプラは前記シンチレータを絶縁するための封止を形成し、前記ハウジングは、前記シンチレータ、前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管、および前記光カプラを含み、前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管の数は前記封止を破ることなく変更できる、放射線検出装置。 - 前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管の数が増加する、請求項1に記載の放射線検出装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管の数が減少する、請求項1に記載の放射線検出装置。
- 前記放射線検出装置の機能性は、前記封止を破ることなく変更できる、請求項1に記載の放射線検出装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管は前記光カプラに隣接している、請求項1に記載の放射線検出装置。
- 前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管は前記シンチレータに光学的に結合されている、請求項1に記載の放射線検出装置。
- 前記光カプラはシリカを含む、請求項1に記載の放射線検出装置。
- 前記光カプラは、前記シンチレータを絶縁するために前記ハウジングとの封止を形成する、請求項1に記載の放射線検出装置。
- 放射線検出装置を使用する方法であって、
シンチレータ、1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管、および光カプラを含むハウジングを提供することであって、
前記シンチレータは、放射線の吸収に応答してシンチレーション光を放出するように構成され、
前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管は、前記シンチレーション光の受光に応答して電子パルスを生成するように構成され、
前記光カプラは、前記シンチレータを絶縁するための封止を作成する、提供することと、
前記封止を破ることなく前記放射線検出装置の機能性を変更することであって、前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管の数を変更することを含む、前記機能性を変更することと、を含む方法。 - 放射線の吸収に応答して前記シンチレータからシンチレーション光を放出することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記放射線検出装置の前記機能性を変更することは、メモリから命令を削除することをさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記放射線検出装置の前記機能性を変更することは、インターフェース板を変更することをさらに含み、前記インターフェース板は、前記1つまたは複数のシリコン光電子増倍管に電気的に接続されている、請求項9に記載の方法。
