Description
内燃機関から排気管に排出された排気ガスを浄化する排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置であって、
前記排気ガスの温度と、排気管内に噴射される還元剤の噴射量とに基づいて、前記排気浄化システムにおける構成部品の腐食による劣化度を推定する劣化度推定部と、
前記劣化度推定部により推定された前記劣化度が予め定められた閾値を超えるかどうかを判断する判断部と、
前記判断部の判断結果を出力する出力部と、
を備える。
本実施の形態は、自動車に搭載されたディーゼルエンジン(内燃機関)に本発明を適用した場合について説明する。以下、ディーゼルエンジンを、単にエンジンという場合がある。

Claims (10)
- 内燃機関から排気管に排出された排気ガスを浄化する排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置であって、
前記排気ガスの温度と、排気管内に噴射される還元剤の噴射量とに基づいて、前記排気浄化システムにおける構成部品の腐食による劣化度を推定する劣化度推定部と、
前記劣化度推定部により推定された前記劣化度が予め定められた閾値を超えるかどうかを判断する判断部と、
前記判断部の判断結果を出力する出力部と、
を備える、排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記劣化度推定部は、前記排気ガスの温度と前記還元剤の単位時間当たりの噴射量とに基づいて、単位時間当たりの劣化度を推定する、
請求項1に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記劣化度推定部は、前記排気ガスの温度と前記還元剤の単位時間当たりの噴射量とで参照される単位時間当たりの前記劣化度を示すマップを参照して、前記単位時間当たりの劣化度を推定する、
請求項2に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記劣化度推定部は、前記排気管の壁面温度に基づいて、前記排気ガスの温度を推定する、
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記劣化度推定部は、前記排気管内を流れる前記排気ガスの流量に基づいて、前記劣化度を補正する、
請求項2から4のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記劣化度推定部は、前記還元剤の温度に基づいて、前記劣化度を補正する、
請求項2から5のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記出力部は、前記判断結果を、前記排気浄化システムを搭載した車両の運転者に報知する報知部に出力する、
請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記出力部は、前記判断結果を、遠隔地に設置された監視センターに通信網を介して通報する通信部に出力する、
請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記構成部品の腐食による劣化度は、前記排気管の腐食量である、
請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。 - 前記構成部品の腐食による劣化度は、前記排気管内に噴射された尿素水と排気管内に流れる排気ガスとの混合を促進するためのミキサーを前記排気管に支持する支持部の腐食量である、
請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化システムの劣化診断装置。
