Description

Claims (21)
- 静脈疾患の治療のために静脈に埋植するための人工静脈弁のインプラントであって、
前記インプラントが、
1つの管状の拡張可能な固定フレームであって、該拡張可能な固定フレームは、上流端部から下流端部までインプラントの全長にわたって延びるステント様構造体からなり、前記固定フレームを通過して前記上流端部から前記下流端部まで延びる管腔を形成し、該拡張可能な固定フレームは、送達カテーテルを介した送達のために、折畳み状態から送達カテーテルの外側の拡張状態に拡張可能であり、前記固定フレームは、前記上流端部と前記下流端部との間に狭い中間部分を有する砂時計形状を有しており、前記上流端部と前記下流端部はともに前記中間部分より幅が広い、1つの管状の拡張可能な固定フレームと、
前記固定フレームの狭い前記中間部分の内面に直接取り付けられた弁座であって、該弁座は、拡張可能かつ折畳み可能である、弁座と、
ボールであって、該ボールが、前記インプラントを通過する血液の前進流を許容する位置にある開放位置と、前記弁座に接触して前記インプラントを通過する血液の逆流を防止して前記インプラントを通過する下流方向への血液の前進流を許容する閉鎖位置との間で、前後に移動するように、前記固定フレームの前記管腔内において前記弁座と前記下流端部との間に配置された、ボールと、
ボール保持テザーであって、前記ボールに直接取り付けられた第1端部と、前記ボールの上流位置に前記固定フレームに直接取り付けられた第2端部とを備える、ボール保持テザーと、
を備える、インプラント。 - 前記固定フレームの少なくとも一部分を覆って配置されたコーティングを更に含む、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記コーティングが、重合体、ヒアルロン酸、ヘパリン及び抗凝固剤から成るグループから選択された少なくとも1つの物質で作られる、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 前記固定フレームの前記上流端部又は前記下流端部の少なくとも一方が、前記固定フレームのすぐ隣の部分より広い直径まで拡張する、より広い拡張可能部分を含み、前記より広い拡張可能部分が、前記固定フレームが拡張したとき複数の移動防止先端を形成する、請求項2に記載のインプラント。
- 前記コーティングが前記移動防止先端以外の前記固定フレームの表面積全体を被覆する、請求項4に記載のインプラント。
- 更に、前記静脈内での前記インプラントの下流方向の移動を防止するために前記固定フレームに複数の移動防止逆とげを備える、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記固定フレームが、形状記憶材料を含み、前記折畳み状態から前記送達カテーテルからの放出時の前記拡張状態へ自己拡張可能である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記固定フレームの上流端部分及び下流端部分が、前記インプラントが前記静脈の中に埋植されたとき前記静脈を拡張させるサイズを持つ、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記固定フレームの前記中間部分も、前記インプラントが前記静脈の中に埋植されたとき前記静脈を拡張させるサイズを持つ、請求項8に記載のインプラント。
- 前記中間部分が、実質的に直線的な管状形を持つ、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記中間部分が砂時計形を持つ、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記弁座が、前記固定フレームの内面に取り付けられた拡張可能かつ折畳み可能リングを備える、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ボール保持テザーは、縫合材料およびニチノールからなる群から選択される材料で作られている、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ボールがシェルとコアとを含む、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記シェルが第1の材料を含み、前記コアが第2の材料を含む、請求項14に記載のインプラント。
- 前記コアが磁気材料を含む、請求項14に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ボールがボール直径を有し、かつ前記弁座と前記下流端部との間の距離が前記ボール直径の2倍~4倍である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ボールがボール直径を有し、かつ前記ボール直径が、前記ボールが前記固定フレーム内で前後に移動するとき前記ボールが前記固定フレームの内面に接触するようなサイズを持ち、前記ボールと前記内面との間の接触が、前記内面、前記弁座、前記ボール又は前記ボール保持テザーの少なくとも1つに付着した物質を取り除くように構成される、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ボールが、1.06グラム/立方センチメートル~2.5グラム/立方センチメートルの密度を有する、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記ボールが、前記ボールの周りの血流を容易にするように構成された少なくとも1つの表面特徴を含み、前記表面特徴が、窪み、スリット及び溝から成るグループから選択される、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
- 前記弁座及び前記固定フレームが、前記インプラントに付着した物質の取り除きを容易にするために、前記インプラントの外部から圧縮可能である、請求項1に記載のインプラント。
