Description
本発明は、1300℃以上、例えば、1300℃〜1450℃の範囲である高温で使用可能な複合材料製の部品に関する。本発明はまた、そのような部品を製造する方法、及びそれを使用する方法にも関する。
この目的のために、その態様の1つにおいて、本発明は、
− 原子百分率で1%以下の酸素含有率を示す炭化ケイ素繊維を含む繊維強化材;及び
− 繊維強化材の細孔内に存在し、少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩、ムライト(3Al2O3・2SiO2)、又はムライトと少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩との混合物を含むマトリックス
を少なくとも含む複合材料製の部品を提供する。
− 少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩、ムライト、又はムライトと少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩との混合物を含む少なくとも1種のケイ酸塩相;及び
− 炭化ケイ素繊維とケイ酸塩相との間に位置する、ケイ酸塩相とは異なるセラミック材料製の追加のマトリックス相
を少なくとも含む。
− ムライト又はムライトの少なくとも1つのゾル−ゲル前駆体の少なくとも1種の粉末を繊維強化材の細孔に導入する工程、
− ムライトを含む第1のマトリックス相を形成するために、ゾル−ゲル前駆体を変換した後に、導入された又は得られたムライトを焼結する工程;
− 第1のマトリックス相で高密度化された繊維強化材の細孔に希土類ケイ酸塩又は希土類ケイ酸塩の少なくとも1つのゾル−ゲル前駆体の少なくとも1種の粉末を導入する工程;及び
− 希土類ケイ酸塩を含む第2のマトリックス相を形成するために、ゾル−ゲル前駆体を変換した後に導入された又は得られた希土類ケイ酸塩を焼結する工程
を実施することによって形成することができる。
原子百分率で1%以下の酸素含有率を示す炭化ケイ素繊維は、例えば、日本の供給業者NGSによって「Hi−Nicalon−S」の名称で供給される繊維であることができる。これらの繊維を、以下、「SiC繊維」と呼ぶ。
− 少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩;又は
− ムライト;又は
− ムライトと少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩との混合物
を含む少なくとも1つのケイ酸塩相を含む。
Claims (12)
- − 原子百分率で1%以下の酸素含有率を示す炭化ケイ素繊維を含む繊維強化材;及び
− 繊維強化材の細孔内に存在し、少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩、ムライト、又はムライトと少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩との混合物を含む焼結ケイ酸塩相を含むマトリックスであって、ムライトを含む第1の相と、第1の相とは異なる、少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩を含む第2の相とを少なくとも含むマトリックス、ここで、マトリックスの少なくとも50重量%は、ムライトと少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩との混合物によって構成される、
を少なくとも含む、複合材料製の部品。 - 希土類ケイ酸塩が、化学式RE2SiO5又はRE2Si2O7を有し、式中REは希土類元素を表す、請求項1に記載の部品。
- REが、Y、Yb、及びLuから選択される、請求項2に記載の部品。
- 第1の相が、炭化ケイ素繊維と第2の相との間に位置する、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の部品。
- マトリックスが
− 少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩、ムライト、又はムライトと少なくとも1種の希土類ケイ酸塩との混合物を含む少なくとも1種のケイ酸塩相;及び
− 炭化ケイ素繊維とケイ酸塩相との間に位置する、ケイ酸塩相とは異なるセラミック材料製の追加のマトリックス相
を含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の部品。 - 部品がタービンエンジン部品を構成する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の部品。
- 部品が、分配器、燃焼室の壁、タービンリングセクタ、又はタービンエンジンブレード又は翼の少なくとも一部を構成する、請求項6に記載の部品。
- 繊維強化材の細孔内にマトリックスを形成する工程を少なくとも含み、ケイ酸塩相が焼結によって形成される、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の部品を製造する方法。
- 1200℃以上の温度が焼結中に課される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- マトリックスが、少なくとも以下の工程、即ち、
− ムライト又はムライトの少なくとも1つのゾル−ゲル前駆体の少なくとも1種の粉末を繊維強化材の細孔に導入する工程、
− ムライトを含む第1のマトリックス相を形成するために、ゾル−ゲル前駆体を変換した後に、導入された又は得られたムライトを焼結する工程;
− 第1のマトリックス相で高密度化された繊維強化材の細孔に希土類ケイ酸塩又は希土類ケイ酸塩の少なくとも1つのゾル−ゲル前駆体の少なくとも1種の粉末を導入する工程;及び
− 希土類ケイ酸塩を含む第2のマトリックス相を形成するために、ゾル−ゲル前駆体を変換した後に導入された又は得られた希土類ケイ酸塩を焼結する工程
を実施することによって形成される、請求項8又は9に記載の方法。 - 部品が1300℃以上の温度で使用される、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の部品を使用する方法。
- 部品が、酸化性の湿潤雰囲気で使用される、請求項11に記載の方法。
