Description
本実施例では、以下のような方法でパルミチン酸エチルエステルを製造した。原料である植物性油脂としては、パルミチン酸の含有量が高いパーム油由来の画分油脂を選定した。このとき、パーム油由来の分画油脂のPOP含有量は35〜70%、ヨウ素価は35〜55であった。前記パーム油由来の分画油脂とともに脂肪酸置換及びエチル基を提供するための用途として使用される脂肪酸エチルエステルとしては、ステアリン酸エチルエステルを使用した。
前記実施例1に基づいてエステル交換反応を通じて得たステアリン酸エチルエステルとパルミチン酸エチルエステルからトリグリセリドを分離するために蒸留を実施した。
3.1.GC−FID分析
前記実施例2から得た脂肪酸エチルエステルの組成及び含有量をGC(gas chromatography)を利用して分析した。具体的な分析条件は、下記表2に示した。分析に先立ち、脂肪酸エチルエステルは、通常の油脂の脂肪酸を分析するための方法でメチル化(methylation)することができ、得られた脂肪酸エチルエステル50μlを1mLのヘキサン(hexane)に溶解して使用することができる。本実施例では、メチル化の過程を省略し、分析を行った。
前記実施例2に基づいて蒸留工程を通じて得た脂肪酸エチルエステルの組成及び含有量を分析した。GC−FIDにより確認された脂肪酸エチルエステル組成を下記表3に示した。
前記実施例4による精留を通じて得たパルミチン酸エチルエステルの純度を分析した。本分析は、前記実施例3と同様にGC−FIDを用いて行い、その結果を下記表4に示した。
前記実施例1に基づいて植物性油脂としてパーム中部油を使用して製造したパルミチン酸エチルエステル以外に、植物性油脂の種類に応じて、多様な脂肪酸組成を含有することに着目し、パーム中部油の代わりにハイオレイックヒマワリ油、キャノーラ油、及びヤシ油を原料として使用して実施例1と類似の酵素的エステル交換反応を通じて脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造した。前記3種の植物性油脂とステアリン酸エチルエステルを1:2のモル比で混合し、5wt%のムコール・ミエヘイ由来のリパーゼを添加した後、攪拌機が設置された反応器で12時間反応させた。この時、反応温度は45℃に維持した。
本発明は、以下の実施態様を含む。
[1] (a)植物性油脂を準備する段階;
(b)前記植物性油脂、第1脂肪酸エチルエステル及びリパーゼを反応器内で混合してエステル交換反応する段階;
(c)前記反応器内に存在するトリグリセリド及びジグリセリドを除去する段階;及び
(d)前記反応器から第2脂肪酸エチルエステルを精留(rectification)して分離する段階を含む、脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[2] 前記(d)段階で分離された第2脂肪酸エチルエステルの純度は92〜100%である、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[3] 前記(b)段階の前記植物性油脂と前記第1脂肪酸エチルエステルのモル比は、2:1〜1:5である、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[4] 前記(c)段階は、真空度1〜3mbar、還流比1〜3、220〜245℃の条件の蒸留塔で行われる、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[5] 前記(d)段階は、真空度1〜3mbar、還流比1〜3、205〜240℃の条件の蒸留塔で行われる、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[6] 前記植物性油脂は、パーム油、ヒマワリ油、キャノーラ油、及びヤシ油からなる群から選択される1以上であり、前記植物性油脂は、1.3−ジパルミトイル−2−オレオイルグリセロール(1,3-dipalmitoyl-2-oleoylglycerol:POP)を35〜70重量%含み、ヨウ素価は35〜55である、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[7] 前記第1脂肪酸エチルエステルは、ステアリン酸エチルエステル、オレイン酸エチルエステル、リノール酸エチルエステル、パルミチン酸エチルエステル、カプリル酸エチルエステル及びカプリン酸エチルエステルからなる群から選択された1以上の脂肪酸エチルエステルである、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[8] 前記第2脂肪酸エチルエステルは、ステアリン酸エチルエステル、オレイン酸エチルエステル、及びパルミチン酸エチルエステルからなる群から選択された1以上の脂肪酸エチルエステルである、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[9] 前記方法は、有機溶媒を添加する段階を含まない、[1]に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
[10] [1]に記載の方法で製造された脂肪酸エチルエステルを含む食品組成物。
[11] [1]に記載の方法で製造された脂肪酸エチルエステルを含む化粧料組成物。
Claims (5)
- (a)植物性油脂を準備する段階;
(b)前記植物性油脂、第1脂肪酸エチルエステル及びリパーゼを反応器内で混合してエステル交換反応する段階;
(c)前記反応器内に存在するトリグリセリド及びジグリセリドを除去する段階;及び
(d)前記反応器から、他の多様な脂肪酸エチルエステルから第2脂肪酸エチルエステルを精留(rectification)して分離する段階を含み、
有機溶媒を添加する段階を含まず、
前記植物性油脂は、1.3−ジパルミトイル−2−オレオイルグリセロール(1,3-dipalmitoyl-2-oleoylglycerol:POP)を35〜70重量%含み、ヨウ素価は35〜55である、パーム油由来の分画油脂であり、
前記第1脂肪酸エチルエステルは、ステアリン酸エチルエステルであり、
前記(d)段階で分離された第2脂肪酸エチルエステルの純度は92〜100%である、脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。 - 前記(b)段階の前記植物性油脂と前記第1脂肪酸エチルエステルのモル比は、2:1〜1:5である、請求項1に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
- 前記(c)段階は、真空度1〜3mbar、還流比1〜3、220〜245℃の条件の蒸留塔で行われる、請求項1または2に記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
- 前記(d)段階は、真空度1〜3mbar、還流比1〜3、205〜240℃の条件の蒸留塔で行われる、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
- 前記第2脂肪酸エチルエステルは、ステアリン酸エチルエステル、オレイン酸エチルエステル、及びパルミチン酸エチルエステルからなる群から選択された1以上の脂肪酸エチルエステルである、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の脂肪酸エチルエステルを製造する方法。
