Claims (21)

第2のチャンバ入口と第2のチャンバ出口とを有する第2のチャンバであって、分離部材が、前記第1のチャンバ出口の少なくとも一部分と前記第2のチャンバとを分離し、前記分離部材が、接線流路を画定し、前記第1のチャンバ内で前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第1の部分を抑制するように、および前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分の少なくとも一部分が第2のチャンバに入ることを可能にするように適合される、第2のチャンバと
を備える、ハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの一部分と連通するアクチュエータであって、前記アクチュエータは、前記第1のチャンバ出口における第1の圧力および前記第2のチャンバ出口における第2の圧力を提供する真空源であり、前記第1の圧力は、前記第2の圧力とは異なり、前記アクチュエータの作動からの圧力に応答して前記生物学的流体サンプルが前記第1のチャンバ内に引き込まれる、アクチュエータと
を備える、生物学的流体分離デバイス。 - 前記生物学的流体サンプルが全血であり、前記第1の部分が赤血球部分であり、前記第2の部分が血漿部分である、請求項1に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記アクチュエータの作動によって、前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分が前記分離部材を通って引き込まれる、請求項1に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記真空源が真空管である、請求項3に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記第2のチャンバが血漿回収容器である、請求項1に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記第2のチャンバと連通する血漿回収容器をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記アクチュエータが、前記生物学的流体サンプルを前記第1のチャンバに引き込むために前記第1のチャンバの一部分に圧力を付与し、前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分の一部分を前記第2のチャンバに引き込むために前記第2のチャンバの一部分に圧力を付与する単一アクチュエータである、請求項1に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記分離部材がトラック・エッチド膜を備える、請求項1に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記トラック・エッチド膜がポリカーボネート膜である、請求項8に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記第2のチャンバの一部分と連通する穴をさらに備え、前記穴が、前記穴が前記第2のチャンバを密閉する閉位置と、前記第2のチャンバが大気に対して通気される開位置との間で移行可能である、請求項1に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記穴が、前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第1の部分からの前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分の分離中は前記閉位置に設けられ、前記第2のチャンバからの前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分の除去中は前記開位置に設けられる、請求項10に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 第1の部分と第2の部分とを有する生物学的流体サンプルを受け取るように適合された生物学的流体分離デバイスであって、
ハウジングであって、
その中に前記生物学的流体サンプルを受け取るための第1のチャンバ入口と、出口がチャンバ内の入口から横方向の距離に配置され、それによって第1のチャンバ内に横方向の流路を画定する第1のチャンバ出口とを有する第1のチャンバと、

アクチュエータと、
前記アクチュエータおよび前記第1のチャンバと連通する第1のラインと、
前記アクチュエータおよび前記第2のチャンバと連通する第2のラインと
を備え、
前記アクチュエータは、前記第1のチャンバ出口における第1の圧力および前記第2のチャンバ出口における第2の圧力を提供する真空源であり、前記第1の圧力は、前記第2の圧力とは異なり、前記アクチュエータに応じて、前記生物学的流体サンプルが前記第1のラインを介して前記第1のチャンバに引き込まれ、前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分が前記第2のラインを介して前記第2のチャンバに引き込まれる、生物学的流体分離デバイス。 - 単一のアクチュエータが、前記第1のラインを介して前記第1のチャンバの一部分に第1の圧力を、前記第2のラインを介して第前記2のチャンバの一部分に第2の圧力を提供する、請求項12に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記生物学的流体サンプルが全血であり、前記第1の部分が赤血球部分であり、前記第2の部分が血漿部分である、請求項12に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記真空源が真空管である、請求項13に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記第2のチャンバが血漿回収容器である、請求項12に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記第2のチャンバと連通する血漿回収容器をさらに備える、請求項12に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記分離部材がトラック・エッチド膜を備える、請求項12に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記第2のチャンバの一部分と連通する穴をさらに備え、前記穴が、前記穴が前記第2のチャンバを密閉する閉位置と、前記第2のチャンバが大気に対して通気される開位置との間で移行可能である、請求項12に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記穴が、前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第1の部分からの前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分の分離中は前記閉位置に、前記第2のチャンバからの前記生物学的流体サンプルの前記第2の部分の除去中は前記開位置に設けられる、請求項19に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
- 前記第2のラインの少なくとも一部分の中に配置された多孔性材料をさらに備える、請求項12に記載の生物学的流体分離デバイス。
