Description
建材用窓ガラス等に適用される真空断熱複層ガラスパネル(単に「複層ガラスパネル」ともいう。)は、二枚のガラス基板の間に多数のスペーサを介して内部空間を有する。その内部空間は、真空状態とし、さらに、その真空状態を長期間維持するために、二枚のガラス基板の周縁部が気密に封止されている。その周縁部の気密封止には、低融点ガラスと低熱膨張フィラー粒子とを含む封止材料が適用され、その気密封止部は、低融点ガラス中に低熱膨張フィラーが分散した状態となっている。また、真空断熱複層ガラスパネルでは、二枚のガラス基板の間隔、すなわちスペーサの高さや気密封止部の厚さは、通常100〜300μmの範囲にある。
図2に示す真空断熱複層ガラスパネルの封止部4は、封止材料ペーストを用いて形成されることが一般的である。封止材料ペーストは、酸化バナジウム(V2O5)及び酸化テルル(TeO2)を含む低融点ガラス7の粒子と、低熱膨張フィラー粒子8と、ガラスビーズ9と、バインダー樹脂と、溶剤と、を含む。
図3A〜7Bを用いて、代表的な真空複層ガラスパネルの一連の製法の一例である排気管方式について説明する。
本実施例では、本発明の真空断熱複層ガラスの封止部を模擬した接合体を本発明の封止材料ペーストを用い作製し、その接合部の信頼性を評価した。具体的には、本発明の封止材料ペーストを用い、2つのガラス基板を接合し、その接合体の接合強度をせん断応力によって評価した。比較例としては、球状のガラスビーズを含まない封止材料ペーストを用い、これを基準にガラスビーズ含有の有効性を確認した。
本実施例では、封止材料ペーストにおいて固形分中の球状ガラスビーズの体積含有率が接合強度に与える影響について、実施例1と同様にして図11Bの接合体を作製し、その平均接合強度を評価することによって調べた。無鉛低融点ガラスには表1のG−08、G−10、G−25、G−36及びG−42、低熱膨張フィラー粒子には表2のF−01、球状のガラスビーズには表3のB−14を用いて、封止材料ペーストを作製した。
本実施例では、封止材料ペーストにおいて固形分中の球状ガラスビーズの平均粒径(D50)が接合強度に与える影響について、実施例1と同様にして、図11Bに示すような接合体を作製し、その接合体の平均接合強度を評価した。ただし、図11Bに示すスペーサ3としては、高さ250μmの金属製を用いた。また、それに合わせ、封止材料ペースト13の塗布厚も増やし、600μm強とした。
本実施例では、封止材料ペーストにおいて固形分中の球状ガラスビーズの素材の違いが接合強度に与える影響について、実施例1と同様にして、図11Bの接合体を作製し、その平均接合強度を評価した。
本実施例では、上記実施例1〜4の検討結果をもとに、表1の無鉛低融点ガラスと、表2の低熱膨張フィラー粒子と、表3の球状ガラスビーズとを含む封止材料ペーストによって、図1Aに示す本発明に係る真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性を評価した。また、比較例として、表3の球状ガラスビーズを含まない封止材料ペーストを用いて、上記と同様にして、図1に示す真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性について評価した。比較例は、本実施例の真空断熱複層ガラスパネルとの比較に用いた。なお、本実施例及びその比較例ともに、図3A〜7Bに示す真空断熱複層ガラスパネルの製法並びに図8A及び8Bに示す温度プロファイルに従って、真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作した。
本実施例では、実施例5の固形分のうち、表1の無鉛低融点ガラスG−08の代わりに、表1の無鉛低融点ガラスG−12を用いた。固形分の他の構成要素は、表2の低熱膨張フィラー粒子F−01と、表3の球状ガラスビーズB−13とである。これらの固形分を含む封止材料ペーストを用いて、図1Aに示す本発明に係る真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性を評価した。また、比較例としては、本実施例の固形分のうち、表3の球状ガラスビーズを除いた封止材料ペーストを用いて、図1Aに示す真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性について評価した。比較例は、本実施例の真空断熱複層ガラスパネルとの比較に用いた。

本実施例では、実施例5の固形分のうち、表1の無鉛低融点ガラスG−08の代わりに、表1の無鉛低融点ガラスG−22を用いた。固形分の他の構成要素は、表2の低熱膨張フィラー粒子F−01と、表3の球状ガラスビーズB−13とである。これらの固形分を含む封止材料ペーストを用いて、図1Aに示す本発明に係る真空断熱複層ガラスパネルをスペーサ3の材質を変えて2種類製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性を評価した。また、比較例としては、本実施例5の固形分のうち、表3の球状ガラスビーズを除いた封止材料ペーストを用いて、図1Aに示す真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性について評価した。比較例は、本実施例の真空断熱複層ガラスパネルとの比較に用いた。
本実施例では、実施例5の固形分のうち、表1の無鉛低融点ガラスG−08の代わりに、表1の無鉛低融点ガラスG−42を用いた。固形分の他の構成要素は、表2の低熱膨張フィラー粒子F−01と、表3の球状ガラスビーズB−13とである。これらの固形分を含む封止材料ペーストを用いて、図1Aに示す本発明に係る真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性を評価した。また、比較例としては、本実施例の固形分のうち、表3の球状ガラスビーズを除いた封止材料ペーストを用いて、図1Aに示す真空断熱複層ガラスパネルを製作し、その断熱性及び信頼性について評価した。比較例は、本実施例の真空断熱複層ガラスパネルとの比較に用いた。
Claims (18)
- 酸化バナジウム及び酸化テルルを含む無鉛低融点ガラス粒子と、低熱膨張フィラー粒子と、ガラスビーズと、を固形分として含み、
前記固形分中の前記ガラスビーズの体積含有率は、10%以上35%以下であり、
前記固形分中の前記無鉛低融点ガラス粒子の体積含有率は、前記固形分中の前記低熱膨張フィラー粒子の体積含有率より大きく、
前記ガラスビーズは、平均直径(D 50 )が50μm以上200μm以下である、封止材料。 - 請求項1記載の封止材料であって、
前記固形分中の前記ガラスビーズの体積含有率は、20%以上30%以下である、封止材料。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の封止材料であって、
前記固形分中の前記無鉛低融点ガラス粒子の体積含有率は、35%以上である、封止材料。 - 請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の封止材料であって、
前記無鉛低融点ガラス粒子は、酸化銀を更に含む、封止材料。 - 請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載の封止材料であって、
前記無鉛低融点ガラス粒子は、酸化タングステン、酸化バリウム、酸化カリウム及び酸化リンのうちの1種類以上を更に含む、封止材料。 - 請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の封止材料であって、
前記無鉛低融点ガラス粒子は、酸化アルミニウム、酸化鉄、酸化イットリウム及び酸化ランタンのうちの1種類以上を更に含む、封止材料。 - 請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の封止材料であって、
前記低熱膨張フィラー粒子は、リン酸タングステン酸ジルコニウムで形成されている、封止材料。 - 請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の封止材料であって、
溶剤と、バインダー樹脂と、を更に含む、封止材料。 - 請求項8記載の封止材料であって、
前記バインダー樹脂は、エチルセルロース、ニトロセルロース及び脂肪族ポリカーボネートのうちの1種類以上を含む、封止材料。 - 請求項8又は9に記載の封止材料であって、
前記溶剤は、ブチルカルビトールアセテート、テルペン系溶剤及びプロピレンカーボネートのうちの1種類以上を含む、封止材料。 - 第1ガラス基板と、
前記第1ガラス基板と所定の間隔をもって対向するように配置された第2ガラス基板と、
前記第1ガラス基板と前記第2ガラス基板との間に挟み込まれ、前記間隔を保つスペーサと、
前記第1ガラス基板と前記第2ガラス基板との間に挟み込まれた封止部と、を備え、
前記第1ガラス基板と前記第2ガラス基板と前記封止部とで囲まれた内部空間を有し、
前記スペーサは、前記内部空間に配置され、
前記封止部は、請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の封止材料を含む、複層ガラスパネル。 - 請求項11記載の複層ガラスパネルであって、
前記ガラスビーズの最大直径は、前記間隔以下であり、
前記ガラスビーズの平均直径(D50)は、前記間隔の半分以上である、複層ガラスパネル。 - 請求項11又は12に記載の複層ガラスパネルであって、
前記ガラスビーズは、ソーダライムガラス、ホウケイ酸塩ガラス又は石英ガラスで形成されている、複層ガラスパネル。 - 請求項11乃至13のいずれか一項に記載の複層ガラスパネルであって、
前記ガラスビーズの熱膨張係数は、前記第1ガラス基板又は前記第2ガラス基板の熱膨張係数に対して±15×10−7/℃の範囲内である、複層ガラスパネル。 - 請求項11乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の複層ガラスパネルであって、
前記スペーサは、樹脂を含む、複層ガラスパネル。 - 請求項15記載の複層ガラスパネルであって、
前記樹脂は、ポリイミド樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、フッ素樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、フェノキシ樹脂及びシリコン樹脂のうちの1種類以上を含む、複層ガラスパネル。 - 請求項15又は16に記載の複層ガラスパネルであって、
前記スペーサは、ガラス粒子又はセラミックス粒子を含む、複層ガラスパネル。 - 請求項11乃至17のいずれか一項に記載の複層ガラスパネルであって、
前記第1ガラス基板又は前記第2ガラス基板は、風冷強化処理又は化学強化処理が施された強化ガラスで形成されている、複層ガラスパネル。
