Claims (7)
- WとCとを含有する硬質相と、
WとCとTiとZrとを含有し、原子比でTi/(Ti+Zr)が0.5未満の第1固溶体相と、
WとCとTiとZrとを含有し、原子比でTi/(Ti+Zr)が0.5以上の第2固溶体相と、
鉄属金属を含有する結合相とを有する超硬合金であって、
前記TiをTiC換算で、1.0〜3.0質量%、前記ZrをZrC換算で、0.75〜2.0質量%含有しており、
前記TiのTiC換算量は、前記ZrのZrC換算量よりも多く、3倍よりも少なく、
前記第1固溶体相は、原子比でTi/(Ti+Zr)の平均値が0.1以上、0.4未満であり、
前記第2固溶体相は、原子比でTi/(Ti+Zr)の平均値が0.7以上、0.9以下である、超硬合金。 - 前記TiをTiC換算で、1.5〜2.5質量%、前記ZrをZrC換算で、0.9〜1.4質量%含有している、請求項1に記載の超硬合金。
- 前記超硬合金の断面における、前記第1固溶体相の体積比率(V1)と、前記第2固溶体相の体積比率(V2)との総和に対する、前記第1固溶体相の体積比率(V1)の比率(V1/V1+V2)は、0.05〜0.3である、請求項1または2に記載の超硬合金。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の超硬合金と、該超硬合金の表面に位置する被覆層とを有する、被覆工具。
- 前記被覆層は、前記超硬合金の方から、順にTiCN層とAl2O3層とを有する、請求項4に記載の被覆工具。
- 前記被覆層は、前記超硬合金の方から、順にTiN層とTiCN層とAl2O3層とを有する、請求項4に記載の被覆工具。
- 第1端から第2端に向かって延び、前記第1端側にポケットを有するホルダと、
前記ポケットに位置する請求項4〜6のいずれかに記載の被覆工具とを備えた、切削工具。
