このような構成によれば、加熱による金属部品の膨張に伴う、接着剤の剥離を抑制できる。

このような構成によれば、パイプよりも線膨張係数が大きい金属部品を用いた場合であっても、良好に接着を行うことができる。
[構成]
図1及び図2に示すように、本実施形態の部材1は、パイプ2と金属部品3とを有する。
金属部品3の端面34には、金属部品3を貫通する貫通孔35が設けられている。貫通孔35にはパイプ2が挿入されており、パイプ2と金属部品3とは、接着剤4により接着されている。接着剤4は、パイプ2の外周面21及び金属部品3の貫通孔35の内周面33に付着する。即ち、接着剤4は、パイプ2の外周面21と金属部品3の貫通孔35の内周面33とに挟まれるように配置される。
部材1の製造方法は、付着及び配置工程と加熱工程とを有する。以下では、各工程について説明する。
図3に示すように、付着及び配置工程では、金属部品3の貫通孔35に挿入されたパイプ2の外周面21と金属部品3の貫通孔35における内周面33とに接着剤4を付着させる。接着剤4を付着させる際には、様々な手順を取り得る。
付着及び配置工程の次に、加熱工程が行われる。加熱工程では、図4に示すように、送風装置5が熱風をパイプ2の内側に流入させる。流入した熱風を熱源6として用いて、パイプ2の内周面22における対象領域25を加熱する。具体的には、熱風を対象領域25へと流入させることで、熱風(熱源6)によって、金属部品3等の他の部材を介さずに、パイプ2の対象領域25を直接加熱する。なお、対象領域25とは、付着領域24の反対側にある領域を意味する。これにより、付着領域24に付着している接着剤4が熱硬化する。そうすることで、接着剤4を介して、パイプ2と金属部品3とが接着し、部材1が形成される。
また、熱源による加熱方法は、様々な手段をとることができる。一例として、対象領域25に対面するように、ヒーターをパイプ2の内側に配置して、パイプ2の対象領域25を加熱してもよい。ここで用いられるヒーターとして、電熱ヒーター等、様々なヒーターを採用し得る。なお、この場合であっても、ヒーターは、パイプ2の内側のみに配置されるため、パイプ2の対象領域25のみを直接加熱できる。
第1実施形態によれば、以下の効果が得られる。
(a)上述のように、加熱工程では、パイプ2の対象領域25を、パイプ2の内側から直接的に加熱する。そのため、金属部品3の加熱を抑制しつつ接着剤4を加熱できるため、金属部品3の膨張を抑制できる。これにより、加熱による金属部品3の膨張に伴う、接着剤4の剥離を抑制できる。
[2.第2実施形態]
次に、第2実施形態での部材1の製造方法について説明する。第2実施形態の製造方法は、加熱工程において相違するが、付着及び配置工程については第1実施形態と同様である。以下では、加熱工程について説明する。

第2実施形態によれば、第1実施形態の効果を奏し、さらに、以下の効果を奏する。
以上、本開示の実施形態について説明したが、本開示は、上記実施形態に限定されることなく、種々の形態を採り得ることは言うまでもない。
また、上記実施形態では、パイプ2が金属部品3の貫通孔35に挿入され、パイプ2の外周面21を全周にわたって金属部品3が覆っている構成を例示したが、これに限定されるものではない。金属部品3は、パイプ2の外周面21を周方向に囲むことなく、外周面21の一部を覆う1又は複数の部品であってもよい。また、金属部品3は、パイプ2の外周面21を全周にわたって囲む複数の部品であってもよい。
Claims (5)
- 樹脂を含む材料を有するパイプと金属部品とを有する部材の製造方法であって、
前記パイプの外周面と、該外周面の少なくとも一部を覆う前記金属部品とに接着剤を付着させ、
前記外周面における前記接着剤が付着された領域を付着領域とし、
前記パイプの内側にある熱源により、前記パイプの内周面における前記付着領域の反対側にある領域を前記金属部品を介さずに加熱し、
前記部材は、車両の骨格に含まれる部品として用いられる、部材の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の部材の製造方法であって、
前記金属部品は、前記外周面を囲っている、部材の製造方法。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の部材の製造方法であって、
前記金属部品は、該金属部品を貫通する貫通孔を有し、前記パイプが前記貫通孔に挿入されている、部材の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項3のうちのいずれか1項に記載の部材の製造方法であって、
前記金属部品の線膨張係数は、前記パイプの線膨張係数よりも大きい、部材の製造方法。 - 請求項1から請求項4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の部材の製造方法であって、
前記熱源は、前記熱源の内部に注入される高温の空気により膨張するように構成され、
前記加熱は、前記パイプの内側にある前記熱源に高温の空気を注入して前記熱源を膨張させ、膨張した前記熱源が、前記内周面における前記付着領域の反対側にある領域を加圧することにより行われる、部材の製造方法。
