Claims (3)
- 熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック部材同士の溶接継手に充填され、前記熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック部材と同時に溶接棒も溶融する、熱風又は熱板部材の加熱手段により溶融可能な繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒であって、繊維と熱可塑性樹脂との混合物を棒状に形成し、前記繊維の含有量を、前記混合物を100重量%としたときの1重量%以上〜35重量%以下とすることを特徴とする熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒。
- 前記繊維が、炭素繊維、ガラス繊維、ボロン繊維、アラミド繊維、ポリエチレン繊維、変性ポリフェニレンエーテル繊維及びセルロースナノファイバーの内のいずれか一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒。
- 熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック部材同士の溶接方法であって、母材である熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック部材の熱可塑性樹脂とアンカーリング効果を生ずる熱可塑性樹脂を含有し、繊維の含有量を1重量%以上〜35重量%以下とする熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒を選択する溶接棒選択ステップと、前記熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒の先端部を、母材である熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック部材同士の継手部の接合面に適度の押付力で当て、熱風又は熱板部材の加熱手段により前記熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒及び前記熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック部材がそれぞれ含有する熱可塑性樹脂のみを溶融させて、前記継手部の接合面を溶融した熱可塑性樹脂及び溶融していない繊維で充填させながら、かつ前記継手部に沿って前記熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒の先端部を前記継手部の接合面に押付ながら移動する溶接ステップと、を備えることを特徴とする熱可塑性繊維強化プラスチック用溶接棒を使用する溶接方法。
