Description

Claims (13)
- 薬物送達デバイス(100)を、直線状外ねじ(201)が設けられた無針アクセスデバイス(200)に接続するためのアダプタ(1)において、
近位領域(2a)および遠位領域(2b)を有する全体的に筒状の本体(2)を備え、前記近位領域には、前記アダプタを前記薬物送達デバイスに装着するための係合手段(3)が設けられており、前記遠位領域には、その内壁上に、前記無針アクセスデバイスを前記アダプタに接続するように、内ねじの所定の長さL上で、前記直線状外ねじ(201)と協働するように意図された前記内ねじ(5)が設けられており、前記内ねじは、前記長さLの遠位部(5b)上に、長さL1と、前記直線状外ねじの大径と噛み合う一定値の大径D1とを有する前記遠位部(5b)を有する、アダプタであって、
前記内ねじは、前記長さLの近位部(5a)上に大径D2を有し、前記大径D2は前記大径D1よりも厳密に小さく、前記内ねじは、前記近位部(5a)を前記遠位部(5b)に連結するテーパ付きねじ部分(5c)をさらに備え、前記テーパ付きねじ部分は長さL2を有し、
前記内ねじ(5)は、前記直線状外ねじ(201)と、前記内ねじ(5)の前記テーパ付き部分(5c)および前記近位部(5a)との間の摩擦の増大するように構成され、
前記内ねじの前記近位部(5a)、前記テーパ付きねじ部分(5c)および前記遠位部(5b)は、前記無針アクセスデバイス(200)の前記直線状外ねじと同時に協働するように構成されることを特徴とするアダプタ(1)。 - 前記大径D2が前記大径D1に対してなす比の値が0.95から0.98の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアダプタ(1)。
- 長さL4を有する前記近位部(5a)において、前記大径D2が長さL4にわたって一定値を有することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のアダプタ(1)。
- 前記遠位部(5b)の前記長さL1が前記テーパ付き部分(5c)の前記長さL2に対してなす比の値が、0.9から1.1の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のアダプタ(1)。
- 前記係合手段は、薬物送達デバイスの遠位先端(101)上に摩擦により係合可能な近位の内側リム(3)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のアダプタ(1)。
- 前記内側リムは、半径方向に拡張可能であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のアダプタ(1)。
- 前記遠位部(5b)の前記長さL1が前記近位部(5a)の前記長さL4に対してなす比の値が、1.125から1.325の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のアダプタ(1)。
- 前記テーパ付き部分の前記長さL2が前記近位部の前記長さL4に対してなす比の値が、1.125から1.325の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のアダプタ(1)。
- 薬物送達デバイス内に収納された製品の移転のための軸方向通路(102)を画定する遠位先端(101)を備える、前記薬物送達デバイス(100)であって、前記遠位先端上に装着された、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の少なくとも1つのアダプタ(1)をさらに備えることを特徴とする前記薬物送達デバイス(100)。
- 前記遠位先端(101)は、ガラス製であることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の薬物送達デバイス(100)。
- 前記遠位先端(101)は、円錐形であって、遠位方向にテーパが付けられていることを特徴とする請求項9または10に記載の薬物送達デバイス(100)。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のアダプタ(1)上に、直線状外ねじ(201)が設けられた無針アクセスデバイス(200)を接続する方法であって、少なくとも、前記直線状外ねじ(201)を前記内ねじの前記所定の長さL上で、前記アダプタ(1)の前記内ねじ(5)中にねじ込むステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
- 薬物送達デバイス(100)を、直線状外ねじ(201)が設けられた無針アクセスデバイス(200)に接続する方法であって、
請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のアダプタ(1)を提供するステップと、
前記アダプタ(1)を、係合手段(3)を介して前記薬物送達デバイス(100)上に係合するステップと、
前記直線状外ねじ(201)を、前記内ねじの前記所定の長さL上で、前記アダプタ(1)の前記内ねじ(5)中にねじ込むステップと
を含むことを特徴とする方法。
