Description
Claims (6)
- 3次元プリンタにより作られる部品から支持材料を取り除く方法であって、
(a)連結式アームのセンサを用いて、前記連結式アームの端に対応する位置データを生成することと、前記連結式アームの前記センサにより生成される前記位置データを参照して、制御装置を用いて、容器内の部品上の少なくとも3つの位置を特定することと、前記制御装置を用いて、前記少なくとも3つの特定された位置と、前記部品を作るために3次元プリンタにより用いられた前記部品に関する構造データと、を関連付けるステップと、
(b)前記制御装置を用いて、流体吹き付けノズルから支持材料のある前記部品の領域に向けて流体を吹き付けるステップであって、前記容器内の前記部品に対応するデータに関連付けられた後の部品に関する前記構造データを参照して行われるステップと、
(c)前記制御装置を用いて、前記流体吹き付けノズルから流体を吹き付け続けて、前記部品の他の領域から支持材料を取り除くステップであって、前記部品に関する構造データを参照して行われるステップと、
(d)光学センサを用いて、前記部品のデジタル画像データを生成するステップと、
(e)前記制御装置を用いて、前記光学センサにより生成された前記デジタル画像データを参照して、前記支持材料が残る前記部品の領域を特定するステップと、
(f)前記支持材料がすべて除去されるまで、ステップ(b)、(c)、(d)および(e)を繰り返すステップと、を含む方法。 - 前記流体吹き付けノズルから前記流体を吹き付けるステップ(b)には、
前記制御装置を用いて、前記流体吹き付けノズルに動作可能に接続する加圧流体の供給源を操作して、前記支持材料がある前記部品の前記領域の、前記支持材料に前記加圧流体を吹き付けること、がさらに含まれる請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記加圧流体の供給源を操作するステップには、
前記制御装置を用いて、前記加圧流体の供給源に動作可能に接続するバルブを操作して、前記加圧流体が、流体吹き付けノズルを通り、前記支持材料がある前記容器内の前記部品の前記領域に向かって流れるようにすること、がさらに含まれる請求項2に記載の方法。 - 3次元プリンタにより作られる部品から支持材料を取り除くシステムであって、
容器であって、前記容器内の部品を固定する装置を有する容器と、
加圧流体の供給源に圧搾空気で接続する流体吹き付けノズルと、
前記部品を固定する前記装置および前記流体吹き付けノズルに動作可能に接続する複数のアクチュエータと、
連結式アームであって、前記容器内の3次元空間内の前記連結式アームの端の位置に対応する位置データを生成するセンサを有する連結式アームと、
前記部品のデジタル画像データを生成するよう構成される光学センサと、
前記複数のアクチュエータ、前記連結式アームのセンサ、前記光学センサおよび前記加圧流体の供給源に動作可能に接続する制御装置であって、前記連結式アームのセンサにより生成される前記位置データを参照して、前記容器内の前記部品上の少なくとも3つの位置を特定し、前記少なくとも3つの特定された位置と、3次元プリンタにより、前記部品を作るために使用された前記部品に関する構造データと、を関連付け、前記容器内の部品の外形に関するデータに関連付けされた後の前記部品に関する構造データを参照して、前記複数のアクチュエータのうちのいくつかの前記アクチュエータを操作して、前記流体吹き付けノズル、前記部品を固定する前記装置、またはその両方を移動させて、前記支持材料がある前記部品の領域と向かい合って前記流体吹き付けノズルを配置し、前記加圧流体の供給源を操作して、前記流体吹き付けノズルを通して、前記部品上の前記支持材料に加圧流体を吹き付け、前記部品に関する構造データを参照して、前記アクチュエータの操作を続けて、前記部品の他の領域に対向して、前記流体吹き付けノズルを配置し、前記加圧流体の供給源を操作して、前記部品の他の領域から前記支持材料を取り除き、前記光学センサを用いて、前記部品のデジタル画像データを生成し、前記光学センサにより生成された前記デジタル画像データを参照して、前記支持材料が残る前記部品の領域を特定し、
前記支持材料がすべて除去されるまで、前記流体吹き付けノズルの配置、前記支持材料への前記加圧流体の吹き付け、前記部品の他の領域からの前記支持材料の取り除き、前記デジタル画像データの生成、および前記支持材料が残る前記部品の領域の特定を繰り返すよう構成される制御装置と、を含むシステム。 - 前記加圧流体の供給源に動作可能に接続するバルブをさらに含み、
前記制御装置が、前記バルブを操作して、前記流体吹き付けノズルを通り前記支持材料がある前記容器内の前記部品の前記領域に向けて加圧流体が流れるようにするようさらに構成される、請求項4に記載のシステム。 - 前記制御装置が、
所定の時間が経過した後、前記バルブを操作して、前記流体吹き付けノズルを通る流れを止めるようさらに構成される、請求項5に記載のシステム。
