Description
生体活性ガラス粉末を加圧成形して成形体を製造する第1段階;
前記成形体を650〜745℃で1次熱処理する第2段階;
前記1次熱処理された成形体を2次熱処理時の収縮率を考慮して硬組織欠損部の形状に加工する第3段階;及び
前記加工物を850〜1200℃で2次熱処理する第4段階を含む。
以下、本発明の理解のために好ましい実施例を提示する。しかし、下記実施例は本発明をより容易に理解するために提供されるものであり、実施例により本発明の内容が限定されるものではない。
本件出願は、以下の構成の発明を提供する。
(構成1)
生体活性ガラス粉末を加圧成形して成形体を製造する第1段階;
前記成形体を650〜745℃で1次熱処理する第2段階;
前記1次熱処理された成形体を2次熱処理時の収縮率を考慮して硬組織欠損部の形状に加工する第3段階;及び
前記加工物を850〜1200℃で2次熱処理された第4段階を含む、生体の硬組織欠損部代替用医用材料の製造方法。
(構成2)
前記第4段階以後に前記2次熱処理した加工物を徐冷(slow cooling)させる第5段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする、構成1に記載の方法。
(構成3)
生体活性ガラスが、CaO及びSiO 2 を含むことを特徴とする、構成1に記載の方法。
(構成4)
生体活性ガラスが、MgO、B 2 O 3 、P 2 O 5 及びCaF 2 の中で1種以上をさらに含むことを特徴とする、構成3に記載の方法。
(構成5)
生体活性ガラス粉末に分散剤をさらに混合して加圧成形することを特徴とする、構成1に記載の方法。
(構成6)
前記分散剤が、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)、ポリビニルブチラール(PVB)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリエチレングリコール(PEG)、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシメチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、パラフィン、ワックスエマルジョン、マイクロクリスタリンワックス、エタノールまたはこれらの混合物であることを特徴とする、構成5に記載の方法。
(構成7)
第1段階における加圧成形が、冷間等方圧縮(cold isostatic pressing;CIP)であることを特徴とする、構成1に記載の方法。
(構成8)
2次熱処理時の収縮が、等方収縮であることを特徴とする、構成1に記載の方法。
(構成9)
2次熱処理時の収縮率が、一軸方向の長さを基準に15〜25%であることを特徴とする、構成1に記載の方法。
(構成10)
第5段階における徐冷速度が、5℃/分未満であることを特徴とする、構成2に記載の方法。
(構成11)
構成1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の方法で製造され、生体の硬組織欠損部の形状の一軸方向の長さを基準に5%以内の誤差範囲で製造された生体の硬組織欠損部代替用医用材料。
(構成12)
8000N以上の圧縮強度を示すことを特徴とする、構成11に記載の生体の硬組織欠損部代替用医用材料。
(構成13)
骨癒合(bone fusion)特性を示すことを特徴とする、構成11に記載の生体の硬組織欠損部代替用医用材料。
(構成14)
医用材料が、整形外科用人工骨、人工関節または歯科用人工歯根であることを特徴とする、構成11に記載の生体の硬組織欠損部代替用医用材料。
Claims (8)
- 生体活性ガラス粉末を加圧成形して成形体を製造する第1段階;
前記成形体を650〜745℃で1次熱処理する第2段階;
前記1次熱処理された成形体を2次熱処理時の収縮率を考慮して硬組織欠損部の形状に加工する第3段階;
前記加工物を850〜1200℃で2次熱処理する第4段階;及び
前記第4段階以後に前記2次熱処理した加工物を徐冷(slow cooling)させる第5段階を含み
前記第5段階における徐冷速度が、5℃/分未満であり、
前記生体活性ガラスが、前記1次熱処理温度より高く、かつ前記2次熱処理温度より低いガラス転移温度を有する、生体の硬組織欠損部代替用医用材料の製造方法。 - 前記生体活性ガラスが、CaO及びSiO2を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記生体活性ガラスが、MgO、B2O3、P2O5及びCaF2から選択される少なくとも1種をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記生体活性ガラス粉末に分散剤をさらに混合して加圧成形することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記分散剤が、ポリビニルアルコール(PVA)、ポリビニルブチラール(PVB)、ポリメチルメタクリレート(PMMA)、ポリエチレングリコール(PEG)、メチルセルロース、ヒドロキシメチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、パラフィン、ワックスエマルジョン、マイクロクリスタリンワックス、エタノールまたはこれらの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記第1段階における加圧成形が、冷間等方圧縮(cold isostatic pressing;CIP)であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記2次熱処理時の収縮が、等方収縮であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記2次熱処理時の収縮率が、一軸方向の長さを基準に15〜25%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
