- 喫煙物品であって、
喫煙可能材料と、
前記喫煙可能材料の下流の活性炭粒子とを備え、
前記活性炭粒子が機械的な粉砕なしで完全種子から生成され、前記活性炭粒子が長さ、幅、高さを持ち、前記長さ、前記幅、前記高さのうち少なくとも2つが独立的に1mm〜7.5mmの範囲である、喫煙物品。 - 前記活性炭粒子が結合剤を含まない、請求項1に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記活性炭粒子が楕円体である、請求項1または2に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記活性炭粒子が球状体である、請求項1または2に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記活性炭粒子が前記完全種子の炭化および物理的活性化によって生成される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の喫煙物品。

- 前記活性炭粒子が20mg〜40mgの範囲の重さを持つ、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の喫煙物品。
- 前記活性炭粒子が500m2/g〜2500m2/gの範囲の表面積(BET)を持つ、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の喫煙物品。
- フィルター材料を持つフィルターをさらに備え、前記活性炭粒子が前記フィルター材料内に配置される、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の喫煙物品。
- 請求項11に記載の喫煙物品であって、前記フィルター内の活性炭が前記活性炭粒子から本質的に成る、喫煙物品。
- 喫煙物品用のフィルターを製造するための方法であって、
長さ、幅、高さを持つ完全種子を炭化および活性化する工程であって、
前記長さ、幅、高さのうち少なくとも2つが1mm〜10mmの範囲であり、前記完全種子から活性炭粒子を形成する工程と、
機械的な粉砕なしで、前記活性炭粒子を前記フィルターに組み込む工程とを含む、方法。 - 前記活性炭粒子が長さ、幅、高さを持ち、前記長さ、前記幅、前記高さのうち少なくとも2つが独立的に1mm〜7.5mmの範囲である、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 請求項13または請求項14に従い製造されたフィルターを喫煙可能材料の下流にある前記喫煙物品に組み込む工程を含む、喫煙物品を製造する方法。
