Claims (6)
- 映像データをデータ信号に変換して前記データ信号を表示パネルのデータラインに出力するデータ駆動部と、
フレーム期間の第1サブフレーム期間及び前記第1サブフレーム期間の次の第2サブフレーム期間の間互いに異なるゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を前記表示パネルのゲートラインに出力するゲート駆動部と、
を含み、
前記ゲート駆動部は、前記第1サブフレーム期間の間第1ゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を出力し、前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記第1ゲートオン電圧より低い第2ゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を出力し、
前記データ駆動部が前記第1サブフレーム期間の間前記データラインに出力する前記データ信号のデータ電圧、及び前記データ駆動部が前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記データラインに出力する前記データ信号のデータ電圧は同一であり、
前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記表示パネルの画素電極に充電される充電電圧は前記第1サブフレーム期間の間前記画素電極に充電される充電電圧より低いことを特徴とする、液晶表示パネル駆動装置。 - 前記フレーム期間は前記第2サブフレーム期間の次の第3サブフレーム期間をさらに含み、
前記ゲート駆動部は前記第1サブフレーム期間の間第1ゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を出力し、前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記第1ゲートオン電圧より低い第2ゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を出力し、前記第3サブフレーム期間の間前記第2ゲートオン電圧より低い第3ゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を出力することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル駆動装置。 - 前記データ駆動部が前記第1サブフレーム期間の間前記データラインに出力する前記データ信号のデータ電圧、前記データ駆動部が前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記データラインに出力する前記データ信号のデータ電圧、及び前記データ駆動部が前記第3サブフレーム期間の間前記データラインに出力する前記データ信号のデータ電圧は同一であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の液晶表示パネル駆動装置。
- 前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記表示パネルの画素電極に充電される充電電圧は前記第1サブフレーム期間の間前記画素電極に充電される充電電圧より低く、前記第3サブフレーム期間の間前記表示パネルの画素電極に充電される充電電圧は前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記画素電極に充電される前記充電電圧より低いことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の液晶表示パネル駆動装置。
- 前記フレーム期間はN(Nは自然数)個のサブフレーム期間を含み、前記ゲート駆動部は前記N個のサブフレーム期間の間N個の互いに異なるゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を出力することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示パネル駆動装置。
- フレーム期間の第1サブフレーム期間の間、データ駆動部がデータ信号を表示パネルのデータラインに出力し、
前記第1サブフレーム期間の間、ゲート駆動部が第1ゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を前記表示パネルのゲートラインに出力し、
前記フレーム期間で前記第1サブフレーム期間の次の第2サブフレーム期間の間、前記データ駆動部が前記データ信号を前記表示パネルの前記データラインに出力し、
前記第2サブフレーム期間の間、前記ゲート駆動部が前記第1ゲートオン電圧と異なる第2ゲートオン電圧を有するゲート信号を前記ゲートラインに出力すること、
を含み、
前記第2ゲートオン電圧は前記第1ゲートオン電圧より低く、
前記データ駆動部が前記第1サブフレーム期間の間前記データラインに出力する前記データ信号のデータ電圧、及び前記データ駆動部が前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記データラインに出力する前記データ信号のデータ電圧は同一であり、
前記第2サブフレーム期間の間前記表示パネルの画素電極に充電される充電電圧は前記第1サブフレーム期間の間前記画素電極に充電される充電電圧より低いことを特徴とする、液晶表示パネル駆動方法。
