Description
Claims (16)
- 照明付きマイクロ手術器具であって、
手術部位において患者組織を処置するように配置された管状部材を有するマイクロ手術器具であって、前記管状部材が遠位先端および外面を有する、マイクロ手術器具と、
前記手術部位に光を送るように配置された光ファイバであって、光源から光ビームを受け取るように配置された近位端を含み、前記管状部材の前記外面から離れるように光を屈折させるように配置された傾斜端を含むファイバ遠位先端を備えた遠位端も含む光ファイバと、を備えており、
前記管状部材の前記外面は該外面に形成された切欠きを含み、前記外面が、該外面に形成された長手方向溝を含み、前記光ファイバが、前記長手方向溝内に前記管状部材に沿って延在し、
前記切欠きが、前記長手方向溝の深さより大きい深さを有しており、
前記光ファイバの前記遠位端は、前記遠位先端に隣接して光を放射するように配置された湾曲遠位端も含み、前記湾曲遠位端の一部が前記切欠き内に配置され、前記湾曲遠位端が前記管状部材から離れるように湾曲している、照明付きマイクロ手術器具。 - 前記光ファイバの前記湾曲遠位端がテーパ状ファイバ先端部分を備え、前記光ファイバの前記湾曲遠位端の前記テーパ状ファイバ先端部分が、その上に不透明コーティングを備える、請求項1に記載の照明付きマイクロ手術器具。
- 前記光ファイバの前記湾曲遠位端が、
前記切欠き内に湾曲する第1部分と、
前記切欠きから出るように湾曲する第2部分と、
を備える、請求項1に記載の照明付きマイクロ手術器具。 - 前記湾曲遠位端が、前記湾曲遠位端の一部を包囲する不透明接着材料によって前記切欠き内に取り付けられている、請求項1に記載の照明付きマイクロ手術器具。
- 前記管状部材内に延在する内腔の中心軸が、前記管状部材の前記外面の中心軸からずれており、それにより、前記管状部材の厚さが、前記光ファイバを含む側において、反対側の前記管状部材の厚さより大きい、請求項1に記載の照明付きマイクロ手術器具。
- 前記湾曲遠位端の前記先端が、前記光ビームの近視野において前記光ビームを集束させ、前記光ビームの遠視野において前記光ビームを発散させるレンズを備える、請求項1に記載の照明付きマイクロ手術器具。
- 前記マイクロ手術器具が硝子体切除プローブである、請求項1に記載の照明付きマイクロ手術器具。
- 前記管状部材の前記外面が、該外面に設けられたポートの遠位側に配置された切刃を提供する角度付き部を備え、少なくとも前記角度付き部がアンチグレア面を備える、請求項1に記載の照明付きマイクロ手術器具。
- 光ファイバに結合可能であって前記光ファイバの遠位端に照明を提供する光源と、
硝子体切除カッタを有する硝子体切除サブシステムであって、前記硝子体切除カッタが、
遠位先端と内部に延在する内腔とを有する管状部材であって、前記内腔が、前記管状部材の壁の内面によって画定され、前記遠位先端が、前記管状部材の前記壁を貫通して延在するポートを含む、管状部材と、
手術部位に光を送るように配置された前記光ファイバであって、前記光源から光ビームを受け取る近位端と、前記ポートに隣接して光を放射するように配置された遠位端とを含み、前記遠位端の一部が、前記管状部材の外面から前記壁内に延在する切欠き内に配置され、前記遠位端の先端が前記管状部材から離れるように向けられている、光ファイバと、
を含む、硝子体切除サブシステムと、
を備える手術システムであって、
前記外面が、前記壁に形成された長手方向溝を含み、前記光ファイバが、前記長手方向溝内で前記管状部材に沿って延在し、前記切欠きが、前記長手方向溝の深さより大きい深さを有する、手術システム。 - 前記光ファイバの前記遠位端が、
前記切欠き内に湾曲する相対的に遠位ではない部分と、
前記切欠きから出るように湾曲する相対的に遠位である部分と、
を備える、請求項9に記載の手術システム。 - 前記遠位端が、前記遠位端の一部を包囲する不透明接着材料によって前記切欠き内に取り付けられている、請求項9に記載の手術システム。
- 前記管状部材と前記光ファイバの周囲に配置されたスリーブを更に備える、請求項9に記載の手術システム。
- 患者の眼内から硝子体を除去するように配置された管状部材であって、遠位先端と内部に延在する内腔とを有し、前記内腔が、前記管状部材の壁の内面によって画定され、前記遠位先端が、前記内腔内に硝子体を受け入れるように前記管状部材の前記壁を貫通して延在するポートを備える、管状部材と、
前記眼の中に光を送るように配置された光ファイバであって、光源から光ビームを受け取る近位端を含み、前記ポートに隣接して光を放射するように配置された遠位端をも含み、前記遠位端の一部が、前記管状部材の外面に形成された切欠き内に配置され、前記遠位端の一部が前記管状部材から離れるように向けられている、光ファイバと、
を備える硝子体切除カッタであって、
前記管状部材の前記外面が、該外面に形成された長手方向溝を含み、前記光ファイバが、前記長手方向溝内に前記管状部材に沿って延在し、前記切欠きが、前記長手方向溝の深さより大きい深さを有する、硝子体切除カッタ。 - 前記光ファイバの前記遠位端が、
前記切欠き内に湾曲する第1部分と、
前記切欠きから出るように湾曲する第2部分であって、テーパ状である第2部分と、
を備えており、
前記遠位端の前記第2部分の少なくとも一部の断面形状が卵形である、請求項13に記載の硝子体切除カッタ。 - 前記ポートの遠位側が、切刃を提供する角度付き部を備え、前記角度付き部が、鏡面または吸収面のうちの一方であるように処理されている、請求項13に記載の硝子体切除カッタ。
- 前記光ファイバの前記遠位端の前記先端が、前記光ビームの近視野において前記光ビームを集束させ、前記光ビームの遠視野において前記光ビームを発散させる、ボールレンズまたは屈折率分布型(GRIN)レンズを備える、請求項13に記載の硝子体切除カッタ。
