Description
図1は本発明の実施形態に係るレーザピーニング加工装置の構成図である。
以上のようなレーザピーニング加工装置1及びレーザピーニング加工方法は、フェムト秒レーザ等の超短パルスレーザを用いることによって液体やコーティング等の媒体を不要にしたものである。このため、レーザピーニング加工装置1及びレーザピーニング加工方法によれば、ナノ秒レーザを使用する場合に比べて、レーザ発振器2のサイズを飛躍的に小さくすることができる。その結果、レーザピーニング加工装置1のポータブル化が可能となる。
以上、特定の実施形態について記載したが、記載された実施形態は一例に過ぎず、発明の範囲を限定するものではない。ここに記載された新規な方法及び装置は、様々な他の様式で具現化することができる。また、ここに記載された方法及び装置の様式において、発明の要旨から逸脱しない範囲で、種々の省略、置換及び変更を行うことができる。添付された請求の範囲及びその均等物は、発明の範囲及び要旨に包含されているものとして、そのような種々の様式及び変形例を含んでいる。
Claims (5)
- レーザ光を発振するレーザ発振器と、
レンズで前記レーザ光を集光して被加工物に照射する照射系とを備え、
前記照射系は、液体を介さずに大気中に露出された状態で前記被加工物に前記レーザ光を照射するように構成され、かつ
前記照射系は、
一方の開口端が前記レーザ発振器と連結され、前記レーザ光の散乱光を遮蔽するための遮光材で構成された筒状のノズルと、
前記ノズルの他方の開口端に取付けられ、前記被加工物の表面に接触させながら滑らせるための弾性体と、
を有するレーザピーニング加工装置。 - 前記弾性体の前記被加工物との接触状態を検知するセンサと、
前記接触状態に応じて前記レーザ発振器の電源を制御することによって前記レーザ光の発振を停止させる制御装置と、
を更に備える請求項1記載のレーザピーニング加工装置。 - 前記レーザ光の照射によって前記ノズル内に生じる前記被加工物の屑を回収するための集塵機と、
前記集塵機と前記ノズル内を連結する連結チューブとを更に備え、
前記連結チューブの前記ノズル側を、リング状の前記弾性体の前記被加工物側に形成された溝又は前記弾性体に形成された貫通孔と連結した請求項1又は2記載のレーザピーニング加工装置。 - 前記屑を回収するためのエアを前記ノズル内に取込むためのエア取込口であって、前記レーザ光の散乱光が前記ノズルの外部に漏れない構造を有するエア取込口を前記ノズルに形成した請求項3記載のレーザピーニング加工装置。
- 請求項1乃至4記載のレーザピーニング加工装置を用いて前記被加工物のレーザピーニング加工を行うことによって製品又は半製品を製造するレーザピーニング加工方法。
