Description
(i)繊維材料に、上記特定官能基を有する化合物を付着させる。なお、化合物の付着は、上記特定官能基が十分な量で残される範囲で化合物の一部と繊維の一部とが化学的に結合している状態であってもよい。
(ii)繊維を構成する材料に上記特定官能基が直接導入されている繊維を用意する。
[式(4)中、X1又はX2は上記と同義であり、X3は炭素数1〜22のアルキル基を示す。]
[式(I−2)中、R3は水素又はメチル基を表し、Xは炭素数1〜6の直鎖もしくは分岐のアルキレン基を表し、A1Oは炭素数2〜4のアルキレンオキシ基を表し、mは上記HLBの範囲内になるように適宜選択することができ、具体的には、1〜80の整数が好ましく、mが2以上のときm個のA1Oは同一であっても異なっていてもよい。]

[式(C−4)中、R10は水素又はメチル基を表し、pは2以上の整数を表し、Sは(p+1)価の有機基を表し、Tは重合性不飽和基を有する1価の有機基を表す。]
表1及び2に示される組成(表中、数値は(g)を示す)を有する混合液を、以下に示す手順により重合して、ポリマー分散液を得た。
500mLフラスコに、アクリル酸ステアリル40g、塩化ビニル20g、ラテムルPD−430(花王株式会社製、ポリオキシアルキレンアルケニルエーテル、HLB=14.4)2g、ラテムルPD−420(花王株式会社製、ポリオキシアルキレンアルケニルエーテル、HLB=12.6)2g、ステアリルジメチルアミン塩酸塩3g、トリプロピレングリコール25g及び水207.70gを入れ、45℃にて混合攪拌し混合液とした。この混合液に超音波を照射して全単量体を乳化分散させた。次いで、アゾビス(イソブチルアミジン)二塩酸塩0.3gを混合液に添加し、窒素雰囲気下で60℃にて6時間ラジカル重合させて、非フッ素系撥水剤としてポリマー濃度21質量%の非フッ素系アクリル系ポリマー分散液を得た。
表1及び2に記載の材料を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様に重合を行い、非フッ素系撥水剤として表1及び2に示すポリマー濃度の非フッ素系アクリル系ポリマー分散液をそれぞれ得た。
表2に記載の材料を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様に重合を行い、フッ素系撥水剤として表2に示すポリマー濃度のフッ素系アクリル系ポリマー分散液をそれぞれ得た。
ラテムルPD−420:「ラテムルPD−420」(花王株式会社製、商品名、ポリオキシアルキレンアルケニルエーテル、HLB=12.6)

ノイゲンXL−100:「ノイゲンXL−100」(第一工業製薬株式会社製、商品名、ポリオキシアルキレン分岐デシルエーテル、HLB=14.7)
ノイゲンXL−60:「ノイゲンXL−60」(第一工業製薬株式会社製、商品名、ポリオキシアルキレン分岐デシルエーテル、HLB=12.5)
合成例1〜10で得られたポリマー分散液50gにアセトン500mLを加えることによりポリマーと乳化剤を分離させポリマーを濾取し、このポリマーを25℃にて24時間減圧乾燥させた。得られたポリマーを以下のように評価した。結果を表1及び2に示す。
上記で得られた実施例及び比較例のポリマーについて、高架式フローテスターCFT−500((株)島津製作所製)を用い、ダイ(長さ10mm、直径1mm)を取り付けたシリンダー内にポリマーを1g入れ、105℃6分間保持し、プランジャーにより100kg・f/cm2の荷重を加えて105℃における溶融粘度を測定した。
上記で得られた実施例及び比較例のポリマーについて、GPC装置(東ソー(株)製GPC「HLC−8020」)により、カラム温度40℃、流量1.0ml/分の条件下で、溶離液にテトラヒドロフランを用いて測定し、標準ポリスチレン換算で重量平均分子量を測定した。なお、カラムは、東ソー(株)製の商品名TSK−GEL G5000HHR、G4000HHR、G3000HHRの3本を接続して装着した。
繊維材料として、染色を行ったナイロン100%布(表中、Nyで示す)、染色を行ったポリエステル100%(ポリエチレンテレフタレート製)布(表中、Petで示す)、及びカチオン可染ポリエステル(株式会社色染社製、染色試験用繊維「カチオン可染型ポリエステルニットスムース(加工糸)」)(表中、CD−PETで示す)を用意した。
下記の前処理剤1〜4を準備した。
反応容器に、フェノール70g、リン酸1.5g、及びホルムアルデヒド20gを入れ、95〜100℃で3時間反応し、次いで無水酢酸45gを30分かけて滴下した後に70℃まで冷却した。次に、90%硫酸25gを30分かけて滴下し、100℃で1時間反応した。反応後、水138.5gを加えて、フェノールスルホン酸のホルマリン縮合物の含有量が38質量%である前処理剤1を得た。
反応容器に、ビスフェノールS 100g、及び無水酢酸45gを入れ、80℃に昇温した。次に、90%硫酸14.5gを30分かけて滴下した後、120℃で6時間反応した。次に、50℃まで冷却した後に、ホルムアルデヒド10.5gを添加し、100℃で6時間反応した。その後、70℃まで冷却し、水147gを加えて、スルホン化ビスフェノールSのホルマリン縮合物の含有量が40質量%である前処理剤2を得た。
(実施例1)
染色を行ったナイロン100%布を、前処理剤1を含む処理浴(繊維への付与量が化合物濃度換算で2%o.w.f.)に浸漬し、浴比1:10、80℃で20分間の条件で処理した。処理後、130℃で2分間乾燥し、官能基含有繊維を得た。
表3〜8に示される繊維材料、前処理剤、化合物濃度及び撥水剤を用い、実施例1と同様にして撥水性繊維製品を得た。なお、実施例32〜35における撥水剤は下記のものを用いた。
シリコーン系撥水剤1:「ドライポン600E」(日華化学株式会社製、商品名、ハイドロジェンシリコーン含有量53質量%)
シリコーン系撥水剤2:「ネオシードSF−200」(日華化学株式会社製、商品名、アミノ変性シリコーン含有量30質量%)
官能基含有繊維としてCD−PETを用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして撥水性繊維製品を得た。
繊維材料の前処理を行わなかったこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして撥水性繊維製品を得た。
繊維材料として染色を行ったポリエステル100%(ポリエチレンテレフタレート製)布を用いたこと以外は、比較例1と同様にして撥水性繊維製品を得た。
実施例及び比較例の撥水性繊維製品の製造について下記の各種評価を行った。
官能基含有繊維の表面のゼータ電位を、ゼータ電位・粒径測定システムELSZ−1000ZS(大塚電子株式会社製)にて測定した。
JIS L 1092(2009)のスプレー法に準じてシャワー水温を20℃として試験をした。撥水性の結果は目視にて下記の等級で評価した。なお、特性がわずかに良好な場合は等級に「+」をつけ、特性がわずかに劣る場合は等級に「−」をつけた。

5:表面に付着湿潤のないもの
4:表面にわずかに付着湿潤を示すもの
3:表面に部分的湿潤を示すもの
2:表面に湿潤を示すもの
1:表面全体に湿潤を示すもの
0:表裏両面が完全に湿潤を示すもの
風合は、得られた繊維製品を、更に170℃で30秒間熱処理したものを用いて評価した。結果はハンドリングにて下記に示す5段階で評価した。
1:硬い 〜 5:柔らかい
撥水加工を行う処理浴の安定性について、以下の手順で評価した。前処理後の繊維材料(実施例13はCD−PET、比較例1及び2は前処理していない繊維材料)5g、撥水剤12g、NKアシストFU(架橋剤、日華化学株式会社製)1gを200mLとなるようにイオン交換水で希釈し、その希釈液を40℃で12時間放置した。その後、繊維材料を取り除き、40℃を維持したまま、TKホモミキサーにて5000回転/分の回転数で10分間攪拌した後、黒く染色した綿布にてろ過し、綿布表面上に残った凝集物を目視判定した。

JIS L 1092(2009)のスプレー法に準じてシャワー水温を20℃として試験をした。本試験においては、官能基含有繊維を、ポリマーの含有量が3質量%、UNIKA RESIN 380−K(架橋剤、ユニオン化学工業株式会社製、トリメチロールメラミン樹脂)の含有量が0.3質量%及びUNIKA CATALYST 3−P(界面活性剤、ユニオン化学工業株式会社製、アミノアルコール塩酸塩)の含有量が0.2質量%となるように、撥水剤及び上記各薬剤を水で希釈した処理液に浸漬処理(ピックアップ率60質量%)した後、130℃で2分間乾燥し、更に繊維材料がPet及びCD−PETである場合、170℃で60秒間、Nyである場合160℃で60秒間熱処理して得られた布(L−0)、及びJIS L 0217(1995)の103法による洗濯を10回(L−10)行った後の布の撥水性を上記撥水性評価方法と同様に評価した。
Claims (7)
- −SO3M1(式中、M1は一価のカチオンを示す)で示される1価の基、−COOM2(式中、M2は一価のカチオンを示す)で示される1価の基、及び−O−P(O)(OX1)(OX2)(式中、X1及びX2はそれぞれ独立に水素原子又は炭素数1〜22のアルキル基を示す)で示される1価の基からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の官能基を含む繊維に、アクリル系撥水剤、シリコーン系撥水剤及びデンドリマー系撥水剤からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の非フッ素系撥水剤を接触させる工程、を備え、
前記非フッ素系撥水剤が、下記一般式(A−1)で表される(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体(A)に由来する構成単位と、塩化ビニル及び塩化ビニリデンのうち少なくともいずれか1種の単量体(E)に由来する構成単位と、を含有するポリマーが含まれるアクリル系撥水剤を含み、
前記ポリマーにおいて、配合する前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体(A)の質量と前記単量体(E)の質量との質量比(A)/(E)が、40/60〜90/10であり、
前記ポリマーにおいて、配合する前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体(A)と前記単量体(E)との合計質量が、前記ポリマーを構成する単量体成分の全量に対して、80質量%以上である、撥水性繊維製品の製造方法。
[式(A−1)中、R 1 は水素又はメチル基を表し、R 2 は置換基を有していてもよい炭素数12以上の1価の炭化水素基を表す。] - 前記ポリマーが、(B1)HLBが7〜18である下記一般式(I−1)で表される化合物、(B2)HLBが7〜18である下記一般式(II−1)で表される化合物、及び(B3)HLBが7〜18である、ヒドロキシル基及び重合性不飽和基を有する油脂に炭素数2〜4のアルキレンオキサイドを付加した化合物のうちから選ばれる少なくとも1種の反応性乳化剤(B)に由来する構成単位を更に含有する、請求項1に記載の撥水性繊維製品の製造方法。
[式(I−1)中、R 3 は水素又はメチル基を表し、Xは炭素数1〜6の直鎖もしくは分岐のアルキレン基を表し、Y 1 は炭素数2〜4のアルキレンオキシ基を含む2価の基を表す。]
[式(II−1)中、R 4 は重合性不飽和基を有する炭素数13〜17の1価の不飽和炭化水素基を表し、Y 2 は炭素数2〜4のアルキレンオキシ基を含む2価の基を表す。] - 前記ポリマーにおいて、配合する前記反応性乳化剤(B)の質量が、前記ポリマーを構成する単量体成分の全量に対して、0.5〜20質量%である、請求項2に記載の撥水性繊維製品の製造方法。
- 前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体(A)が、アクリル酸エステル単量体(a1)とメタクリル酸エステル単量体(a2)とを含み、
前記(メタ)アクリル酸エステル単量体(A)に含まれる前記アクリル酸エステル単量体(a1)の質量と前記メタクリル酸エステル単量体(a2)の質量との比(a1)/(a2)が30/70〜90/10である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の撥水性繊維製品の製造方法。 - 前記繊維が、−SO3M1(式中、M1は一価のカチオンを示す)で示される1価の基、−COOM2(式中、M2は一価のカチオンを示す)で示される1価の基、及び−O−P(O)(OX1)(OX2)(式中、X1及びX2はそれぞれ独立に水素原子又は炭素数1〜22のアルキル基を示す)で示される1価の基からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種の官能基を有する化合物が付着している繊維である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の撥水性繊維製品の製造方法。
- 前記化合物が、−SO3M1(式中、M1は一価のカチオンを示す)で示される1価の基を有するフェノール系高分子化合物を含む、請求項5に記載の撥水性繊維製品の製造方法。
- 前記非フッ素系撥水剤を接触させる前の前記繊維の表面のゼータ電位が−100〜−0.1mVである、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の撥水性繊維製品の製造方法。
