Description
図1は、実施形態に係る液晶表示装置の構成を例示する斜視図である。図1に示すように、液晶表示装置は、バックライトとして配置される面光源装置1と、面光源装置1から出射される光を受ける表示パネル2とを備える。表示パネル2は、ガラス板に挟まれて封入された液晶に電圧をかけて光の透過率を増減等させることで、像を表示する。以下、面光源装置1における、表示パネル2側を上面側として、その反対面側を下面側として説明することがある。
図2は、実施形態に係る面光源装置1の構成を例示する斜視図である。面光源装置1は、導光板10及びフレーム12を備える。また、面光源装置1は、導光板10の下面側に配置される複数の光源11、実装基板13及び反射層14を備える。導光板10の下面側は、表示パネル2が配置されている側の反対側である。更に、面光源装置1は、導光板10の上面側に順に積層される拡散シート15、プリズムシート16及び遮光部材17を備える。導光板10の上面側は、表示パネル2が配置されている側である。プリズムシート16は、1枚であってもよいし、複数枚であってもよい。

前記出光面の法線方向から見て、複数の前記光源のそれぞれと複数の前記凹部のそれぞれが重なっている請求項12に記載の面光源装置。 - 請求項1から13の何れか一項に記載の面光源装置と、
