Martin,P.及びFirman,I.(1970)。白銹病菌(Puccinia horiana)に対するキク品種の耐性。Plant Pathology,180−184には、白銹病耐性キク植物のいくつかの品種が開示されている。開示されたキク品種において白銹病に関連する本発明のゲノム配列、すなわち配列番号1及び2が見出されるかどうかを調査するために、これらの品種をマーカー分析した。その結果を以下の表1に示す:
Claims (11)
- キク属に属する植物であって、該植物は白銹病に対して耐性であり、該植物は、そのゲノム中に、白銹病耐性を与える少なくとも1つのゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子を含み、該白銹病耐性を与えるゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子は、該耐性植物のゲノムに少なくとも1コピー含まれかつ配列番号2で表される核酸配列に遺伝的に結合しており、該植物は、そのゲノム中に、白銹病耐性を与える追加のゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子をさらに含み、該白銹病耐性を与える追加のゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子が、前記耐性植物のゲノム中に少なくとも1コピー含まれかつ配列番号1で表される核酸配列に遺伝的に結合している、植物。
- 前記植物がキクの切り花である、又は前記植物が鉢植えキクである、請求項1に記載の植物。

- 前記植物がNCIMB 42455の番号で寄託されたキク属植物の白銹病耐性と均等の白銹病耐性を有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の植物。
- 前記植物がNCIMB 42455の番号で寄託されたキク属植物に見出される白銹病耐性を有する、請求項5に記載の植物。
- 前記植物が、そのゲノムに、少なくとも2つの白銹病耐性付与ゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子を含み、第1白銹病耐性付与ゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子は、配列番号1で表される、該植物ゲノムに含まれるゲノム核酸配列に遺伝的に結合し、第2白銹病耐性ゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子は、配列番号2で表される、該植物ゲノムに含まれるゲノム核酸配列に遺伝的に結合している、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の植物。
- 前記植物が、NCIMB 42455の番号で寄託されたキク属植物に由来する少なくとも2個の白銹病耐性付与ゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子を含み、該白銹病耐性付与ゲノム領域又は遺伝子又は対立遺伝子が存在することが該植物のゲノム中に配列番号1及び配列番号2が存在することによって示される、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の植物。
- 前記植物がChrysanthemum x morifolium植物であり、該植物が白銹病原体Puccinia horianaに対して耐性であり、該耐性が、配列番号2に遺伝的に結合された第1耐性付与ゲノム領域若しくは遺伝子若しくは対立遺伝子及び配列番号1に遺伝的に結合された第2耐性付与ゲノム領域若しくは遺伝子若しくは対立遺伝子によってコードされる、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の植物。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のキク属植物の種子、植物部分又は植物細胞。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載のキク属植物の子孫。
