Description
まず、反射二重像と透視二重像の概念について説明する。図1は、二重像の概念について説明する図であり、図1(a)は反射二重像、図1(b)は透視二重像を示している。なお、図1において、フロントガラス20を搭載する車両の前後方向をX、車両の左右方向をY、XY平面に垂直な方向をZとしている(以降の図も同様)。
図2は、車両用のフロントガラスを例示する図であり、フロントガラスを車両前方から視認した様子を模式的に示した図である。又、図3は、図2のXZ平面に平行な部分断面図である。なお、図2において、便宜上、HUD表示領域を梨地模様で示している。
実施例では、一般的なHUD光学系を対象に、運転者の視点位置の上下に合わせて凹面鏡を回転させた場合でも、反射二重像を従来よりも抑制可能となる好適な楔角プロファイルの検討を行った。
検討1では、まず、HUD表示領域のZ方向における楔角δが変化する合わせガラスを検討した(実施例)。ここでは、図3(a)に示すように、ガラス板220を楔ガラスとし、ガラス板210と中間膜230とを一定厚とした。つまり、ガラス板220の楔角δg=合わせガラスの楔角δである。
検討2では、検討1の結果を踏まえて楔角の変化の傾きを振った場合の反射二重像の変化について計算した。楔角プロファイルを図7及び表3に示す。なお、表3において、楔角の単位は[mrad]である。
以上の検討結果から、通常膜では反射二重像を許容範囲内に抑制できないことがわかる。又、一定楔では、運転者の視点が中央の場合には反射二重像を許容範囲内に抑制できるが、運転者の視点が下及び上の場合には反射二重像を許容範囲に抑制できない。つまり、一定楔では、運転者の視点が中央の場合に反射二重像が抑制できるような適切な楔角を選択したとしても、運転者の視点の上下に合わせてHUDの凹面鏡を回転させた場合には、反射二重像を許容範囲に抑制できない。

Claims (4)
- 第1のガラス板と、第2のガラス板と、前記第1のガラス板と前記第2のガラス板との間に位置して前記第1のガラス板と前記第2のガラス板とを接着する中間膜と、を備えた合わせガラスであって、
ヘッドアップディスプレイで使用するHUD表示領域を有し、
前記HUD表示領域の少なくとも一部をなす所定領域において、楔角が前記所定領域の下側から上側に行くに従って、100mm当たり0.2mrad以上0.9mrad以下の範囲で減少することを特徴とする合わせガラス。 - 第1のガラス板と、第2のガラス板と、前記第1のガラス板と前記第2のガラス板との間に位置して前記第1のガラス板と前記第2のガラス板とを接着する中間膜と、を備えた合わせガラスであって、
ヘッドアップディスプレイで使用するHUD表示領域を有し、
前記HUD表示領域の少なくとも一部をなす所定領域において、楔角が前記所定領域の下側から上側に行くに従って、100mm当たり0.3mrad以上0.8mrad以下の範囲で減少することを特徴とする合わせガラス。 - 前記所定領域における楔角の変化は、前記第1のガラス板と前記第2のガラス板の何れか一方又は双方により実現されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の合わせガラス。
- 前記所定領域は、前記HUD表示領域を縦方向に分割した際の30%以上を占めていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3の何れか一項に記載の合わせガラス。
