Description
図1は、ラック内に収納されたサーバを示す図である。
上述した実施形態では、サーバ12をラック11に固定(係止)する係止部としてねじ32(図5参照)を使用しているが、ねじ32に替えてレバーによりサーバ12をラック11に固定するようにしてもよい。以下に、係止部としてクイックレバーを用いた例について説明する。
Claims (5)
- 側板をそれぞれ左右に備える筐体と、前記筐体に実装する処理装置とを有する情報処理装置において、
前記処理装置は、
演算処理装置と記憶装置とが搭載された基板と、
前記基板の左右に備えられ水平方向に延伸することにより前記基板を摺動可能なレールと、
前記基板を前記筐体に係止する係止部と、
前記係止部による係止が解除されるとともに、前記基板が前記レールに対して摺動することにより前記筐体から引き出された場合、前記基板が引き出されたことを検出する検出部と、
前記係止部と物理的に離間して設けられ、前記基板が前記筐体から引き出された後、さらに引き出されたとき、前記基板を前記筐体にロックするロック機構と、を備え、
前記情報処理装置は、前記基板が前記ロック機構によりロックされているときに、前記演算処理装置と前記記憶装置とを用いて動作している仮想マシンを、他の処理装置にマイグレーションすることを特徴とする情報処理装置。 - 前記係止部は、ねじ又はレバーにより前記処理装置を前記筐体に係止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の情報処理装置。
- 前記検出部は、前記処理装置に設けられた第1の接点と前記筐体に設けられた第2の接点との接触又は非接触により前記基板が引き出されたか否かを検出することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の情報処理装置。
- 前記ロック機構は、前記基板が前記筐体から引き出された後、さらに引き出されたとき、前記レールに設けられた穴に進入する可動軸を含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の情報処理装置。
- 側板をそれぞれ左右に備える筐体に実装され、演算処理装置と記憶装置とが搭載された基板と、前記基板の左右に備えられ水平方向に延伸することにより前記基板を摺動可能なレールと、前記基板を前記筐体に係止する係止部とを有する処理装置とを備える情報処理装置の制御方法において、
前記処理装置が有する検出部が、
前記係止部による係止が解除され、前記基板が前記レールに対して摺動することにより前記筐体から引き出された場合、前記基板が引き出されたことを検出し、
前記基板が前記筐体から引き出された後、さらに引き出されたとき、前記係止部と物理的に離間して設けられるロック機構により前記基板を前記筐体にロックし、
前記基板が前記ロック機構によりロックされているときに、前記演算処理装置と前記記憶装置とを用いて動作している仮想マシンを、他の処理装置にマイグレーションすることを特徴とする情報処理装置の制御方法。
