Abstract
Description
T形工具10は、工作機械の主軸または工具ホルダの先端部に装着されるシャンク20、該シャンク20の先端に結合されるヘッド(工具本体)30を具備している。シャンク20は、例えば剛性の高い超硬合金製の概ね円柱形状の棒状部材から成り、先端部に雄ねじ24が形成されている。雄ねじ24は、例えば、ピッチ1〜2mm、ねじ山の高さ0.5〜2mmのねじとすることができる。シャンク20は、その側面に2つの平坦面28を径方向に対向するように形成することができる。スパナのような工具によって、シャンク20をヘッド30に螺合するために、平坦面28を用いることができる。

Claims (2)
- 切れ刃を有する工具本体と、円柱状のシャンクとを側面視においてT字形に締結したT形工具において、
前記シャンクは超硬合金より成り、先端部に前記工具本体に係合する雄ねじまたは雌ねじが形成され、
前記工具本体は鋼材より成り、前記シャンクの雄ねじまたは雌ねじと係合する雌ねじまたは雄ねじが形成され、
前記シャンクと前記工具本体とが係合した状態の前記シャンクと前記工具本体との間に、両者の分離と回転を防止するキー結合部が設けられていることを特徴としたT形工具。 - 切れ刃を有する工具本体と、円柱状のシャンクとを側面視においてT字形に締結したT形工具の製作方法において、
超硬合金より成るシャンクの先端部に前記工具本体に係合する雄ねじまたは雌ねじを形成し、
鋼材より成る工具本体に、前記シャンクの雄ねじまたは雌ねじと係合する雌ねじまたは雄ねじを形成し、
前記シャンクと前記工具本体とを係合し、
前記シャンクと前記工具本体との間にキー溝を形成し、
形成された前記キー溝に、前記シャンクから前記工具本体にわたってキーを嵌入し、
前記キー溝に嵌入したキーを前記工具本体に溶接し、
前記シャンクと前記工具本体の間の分離と回転を防止することを特徴としたT形工具の製作方法。
