これらのなかでも、アニオン性水溶性高分子、特に、カルボキシビニルポリマーおよびその誘導体が配合し易さの面から好適に使用される。
本発明において、水溶性高分子は、ハリ・コシの付与とべたつき抑制のバランス面から育毛剤組成物（全体１００重量％）に対し、０．１〜３重量％、好ましくは０．３〜２．５重量％、最適には０．５〜２重量％を使用する。

実施例、比較例で調整した育毛剤組成物を５名のボランティアに使用してもらい、ボランティア自身によって下記評価基準で評価した。
有：毛髪にべたつきが感じられた。
無：毛髪にべたつきが感じられなかった。

２）カルボキシビニルポリマー：カーボポール980 日本ルーブリゾール株式会社製
３）流動パラフィン：パールリームＥＸ 日油株式会社製
４）ジメチコン油：ＫＦ-９６6Ａ １０ｃｓ 信越化学株式会社製
５）シリコン架橋物：ＫＭＰ−５９０ 信越化学株式会社製
なお、その他の成分は、化粧品原料として市販されているものを使用した。

下記表１に示す、Ａに属する成分を均一に撹拌して６−ベンジルアミノプリンを溶解した。当該溶解液にＢに属する成分を徐々に加え、均一に撹拌した後、中和剤としてトリエタノールアミンを適量加えた。中和後、Ｃに属する成分を添加して育毛組成物を得た。この育毛組成物につき、ハリ・コシの効果、およびべたつきの有無を評価した。結果を併せて表１に示した。
