[Examples 1-7 and Comparative Examples 1-5]
About the test sample of Examples 1-7 used as the scope of the present invention and the test sample of Comparative Examples 1-5 outside the scope of the present invention, the nourishing hair composition of each composition shown in Tables 1 and 2 below (total amount 100) Mass%) was prepared by a conventional method and used as a sample.
About each obtained hair-growing composition, the hair-growth effect (acceleration days, hair quality improvement feeling) and hair physical property (bending rigidity change rate) were evaluated by the following evaluation method.
These results are shown in Tables 1 and 2 below. Details of the raw material names used in Examples and the like (including Examples 8 to 15 described later) are shown in Tables 3 and 4 below.
[Test method for hair growth effect]
I-1. Hair-growth effect by mice Hair removal was performed on the back of C3H / Heslc mice in the rest period of the hair cycle, and 10 mice per group were used for the experiment. The test sample was applied to the back part from which hair had been removed in an amount of 0.1 mL each once a day. The hair growth effect of each test sample was measured by measuring the hair growth area on the back of the mouse hair removal and comparing it with the ratio to the hair removal area.
The number of days required for 50% hair growth rate for each test sample was examined, and the number of days that reached 50% hair growth rate was shortened as compared with the case where ethanol alone was applied as “acceleration days” in the table.
I-2. Effect of improving hair quality The test sample within the scope of the present invention and the test sample outside the scope of the present invention were tested for the therapeutic effect of those components on diffuse alopecia by the following method.
The subjects were 64 female (34-65 years old) female diffuse alopecia volunteers who were randomly assigned to a total of 8 groups of 8 as a test drug group and a control group.
In the test, an appropriate amount was applied from the forehead to the top of the head twice a day in the morning and at night. The administration period was 2 weeks.
At the end of the test (after 2 weeks), the degree of improvement of the hair condition compared to before the start of the test was evaluated by the subject himself by the following four criteria (improvement, mild improvement, unchanged, worsening).
Judgment criteria:
Improvement of hair condition Improvement: The volume of the entire hair is increased, and each hair has a natural elasticity equivalent to normal hair.
Minor improvement: A slight volume appears in the whole hair, and a firmness is felt. Unchanged: No change in hair quality is observed. Deterioration: No volume, soft hair. In Tables 1 and 2 below, the percentage of people who actually felt the improvement effect was described as the hair quality improvement actualization rate.
[Evaluation method of hair properties]
An individual hair bundle having an average hair diameter of 65 μm and a length of about 30 cm was subjected to the experiment.
2 g of the test sample was uniformly applied to a hair bundle of 10 g, and then washed with a 30% aqueous solution of sodium polyoxyethylene alkyl ether sulfate. After the above coating and washing treatments were repeated 15 times, the bending stiffness of the hair before and after the test was measured using KES-SH (manufactured by Kato Tech Co., Ltd.), and the bending stiffness change rate before and after the treatment was determined. Calculated by the following formula. The higher the numerical value of the bending stiffness change rate, the better the physical properties of the hair (the bending hardness of the hair).
Bending stiffness change rate (%) = [(Bending stiffness after treatment) / Bending stiffness before test] × 100
As is clear from the results of Table 1 and Table 2 above, the test samples (Examples 1 to 7 in Table 1) within the scope of the present invention all exhibit excellent hair growth effects and bending rigidity change rates. On the other hand, it was found that none of the test samples outside of the scope of the present invention (Comparative Examples 1 to 5 in Table 2) exhibited excellent characteristics.
