Description
特許文献1は、実質的にカリウム及びナトリウムを含有せず、カルシウム、マグネシウム、リン及び窒素を主成分とし、これらの水溶液のpH値が5〜9になる低カリウム含有野菜を栽培するための水耕栽培用肥料及び当該肥料を用いた低カリウム含有野菜の水耕栽培方法を開示する。
そこで、本発明は、上述の実情に鑑み、腎臓病患者に、食材として利用できる新鮮な低カリウム含有野菜等を供給することができる、低カリウム含有植物の栽培装置及び栽培方法を提供することを目的とする。
(1)下水処理水を多孔質体に支持された植物体の根域に供給する下水処理水供給手段と、水耕栽培手段とを備え、前記下水処理水供給手段により、下水処理水を植物体の根域に掛け流すことを特徴とする、低カリウム含有植物体の水耕栽培装置。
(2)多孔質体が、ハイドロボール又は礫である、(1)記載の装置。
(3)下水処理水を多孔質体に支持された植物体の根域に掛け流すことを含む、低カリウム含有植物体の水耕栽培方法。
(4)多孔質体が、ハイドロボール又は礫である、(3)記載の方法。
1.水耕栽培装置の作製
発泡スチロールで作製した深さ30cm程度の細長い箱に漏水防止目的のビニルを敷き詰めたものを装置の本体とし、短片側の片方に下水処理水を注入し、反対側の装置の底に穴をあけ排水用のパイプを刺して下水処理水が排出されるようにした。
排水用パイプが装置の底から突き出た高さが箱内に溜まる下水処理水の水深となる。
ハイドロボール等の発泡煉石、又は軽石を、側面が細かい網状となっているかご状の容器に入れ、それを水耕栽培装置内に置き、容器の下部が下水処理水に浸るようにした。
容器内のハイドロボール中又は軽石中に播種するか又は苗を植え付けた。
下水処理水の掛け流しを、流速10L/分で行った。
表4に示すように、3種の葉菜全てでカリウム吸収量が減少した。減少率は通常の水耕栽培用の培養液で栽培したものと比べ二分の一以下であった。
Claims (2)
- 河川に放流できる程度まで浄化された下水処理水をハイドロボール又は軽石に支持された植物体の根域に常に掛け流すことを含む、低カリウム含有植物体の水耕栽培方法。
- 植物体が、コマツナ、ミズナ及びチンゲンサイから成る群より選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
