Description
The present invention relates to a laminate having a transparent substrate, an index matching layer and a transparent electrode layer, an active energy ray-curable composition, and a method for producing the laminate.
A transparent conductive film obtained by forming a transparent conductive layer on a transparent plastic film substrate by a method such as sputtering to provide a transparent conductive layer is a transparent conductive layer which is further patterned into a desired shape to form a transparent electrode. By forming a layer, it is used as an electrode material of a display device such as a touch panel.
As the transparent conductive material, indium-tin oxide (ITO/Indium Tin Oxide), which is an indium-based oxide, is used because of its high visible light transmittance, relatively low surface resistance, and excellent environmental characteristics. The main component is widely used.
However, when the above-mentioned transparent conductive film is used as an electrode material for a touch panel or the like, the refractive index of a portion having a transparent electrode layer (hereinafter referred to as a transparent electrode layer) on a substrate and a portion having no transparent electrode Due to the difference, there is a problem that the presence of the transparent electrode layer is noticeable (so-called bone appearance).
In order to solve this problem, it has been proposed to provide a layer having a refractive index equivalent to that of the transparent conductive layer (hereinafter, referred to as an index matching layer (IM layer)) between the base material and the transparent conductive layer ( Patent Documents 1 and 2).
Patent Document 1 contains (A) metal oxide particles having a refractive index of 1.7 or more, (B) silica particles, and (C) resin component, and includes (A) component, (B) component and (C). ) A refraction formed from a composition containing 35 to 75% by weight of component (A), 3 to 35% by weight of component (B) and 22 to 38% by weight of component (C), where the total amount of components is 100% by weight. The use of an IM layer with a rate of 1.59 to 1.80 is disclosed.
Claim 14 of Patent Document 2 discloses a transparent conductive laminate in which a cured resin layer and a transparent conductive layer are sequentially laminated on at least one surface of a transparent organic polymer substrate. No. 17, it is disclosed that the cured resin layer contains two kinds of first and second types of ultrafine particles. Then, silica is illustrated as the first ultrafine particles, and titanium oxide is illustrated as the second ultrafine particles ([0117]).
In recent years, in order to increase the sensitivity accompanying the increase in screen size of touch panels, it is required to reduce the resistance value of the transparent conductive film. Being considered.
Further, as the specifications of touch panels become more complicated and diversified every day, the specifications of electrode materials are becoming more complicated, multilayered and diversified every day. For example, another inorganic layer may be provided over the patterned transparent electrode layer and the exposed IM layer, and there may be multiple inorganic layers provided. Another inorganic material layer provided on the transparent electrode layer and the IM layer is formed by a physical vapor deposition (PVD) method using a vacuum or a chemical vapor deposition (CVD) method like a transparent conductive layer such as ITO. It During film formation, various loads (thermal, physical, etc.) are applied to the IM layer, not a little.
By the way, when manufacturing a transparent conductive film or when further providing an inorganic layer on the transparent electrode layer, industrially, a long transparent conductive film is wound into a roll or unrolled. .. In such a winding step and an unwinding step, the IM layer is rubbed against the back surface of the base film or the roll for transportation. If the adhesion between the IM layer and the transparent conductive layer is insufficient, the transparent conductive layer or transparent electrode layer will easily float or peel off from the IM layer due to scratches during the winding/unwinding process. ..
In particular, when the transparent conductive layer itself becomes thicker or a plurality of inorganic layers are provided on the transparent electrode layer after patterning, the interface between the IM layer and the transparent conductive layer or the IM layer and the transparent electrode layer Since the load on the transparent conductive layer and the transparent electrode layer becomes greater, the floating and peeling of the transparent conductive layer and the transparent electrode layer from the IM layer become remarkable.
The adhesion between a substrate such as a film or a metal foil and any film or layer adjacent to the substrate is often evaluated by a test method called a cross-cut test or a cross-cut peeling test. That is, scratches reaching from the surface of the film/layer to the surface of the base material are attached with a cutter knife or the like, and after sticking an adhesive tape on the scratched portion of the surface of the film/layer, the adhesive tape is peeled off to remove the film/layer. This is a method of evaluating how to peel off.
However, in such a general adhesion test, it is not possible to correctly evaluate the degree of easiness or difficulty of exfoliation of the transparent conductive layer or the transparent electrode layer from the IM layer due to “rubbing”.
In addition, the easiness of scratching and the scratch resistance of the film/layer are often evaluated by a test method called a scratch test or a scratch resistance test. That is, while pressing a jig such as a file or steel wool against the surface of the film/layer with a constant load, reciprocating motion at a constant speed or rotating motion is performed to detect the state of scratches on the surface of the film/layer. It is a method of evaluation.
However, in such a general scratch test, the degree of easiness/difficulty of the transparent conductive layer or the transparent electrode layer from the IM layer due to "rubbing" cannot be correctly evaluated.
