Description
Claims (11)
- 原稿供給機であって、
供給経路を通して媒体の複数のシートを供給するための媒体搬送機と、
前記媒体搬送機の入口で金属物体の存在を検出するための検出器であって、前記入口の幅方向に延在するPCB(プリント回路基板)上に設けられた複数の三角形状のインダクタコイルを備え、前記各三角形状のインダクタコイルは、それぞれの1辺が隣接した三角形状のインダクタコイルの1辺と平行に配向され、かつ、他の2辺がそれぞれに隣接したインダクタコイルの辺に沿って配向された状態で交互に配置されて前記PCBに沿って整列されており、かつ、前記各三角形状のインダクタコイルは、最外部と中心部との間に渦巻状に延びる三角形状の平面スパイラルコイルとして形成されている、検出器と、
を備える、原稿供給機。 - 前記複数の三角形状のインダクタコイルが、前記媒体搬送機の入口の幅に亘るように電気的に直列接続されている、請求項1に記載の原稿供給機。
- 前記検出器が、前記媒体のシートに起因した前記検出器に亘る寄生容量の変化を無視するのに十分大きい容量値を有するコンデンサをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の原稿供給機。
- 前記PCBは形状が矩形であり、前記三角形状のインダクタコイルのそれぞれが、正三角形状のインダクタコイルである、請求項1に記載の原稿供給機。
- 前記PCB上の、正三角形状のインダクタコイルによって覆われていない両端部の表面積が、非正三角形状のインダクタコイルで覆われている、請求項4に記載の原稿供給機。
- 前記三角形状のインダクタコイルのそれぞれの磁界極性が、前記PCBに沿って交互になっている、請求項1に記載の原稿供給機。
- 前記媒体の複数のシートを前記供給経路に供給するための原稿トレイと、請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の原稿供給機の構成とを備える原稿処理デバイス。
- 電力が、前記原稿処理デバイスに関連付けられたスキャンシステムの電力供給部から前記検出器の回路に提供される、請求項7に記載の原稿処理デバイス。
- 前記検出器が、前記供給経路に沿って、前記原稿トレイ内に一体化されている、請求項7に記載の原稿処理デバイス。
- 前記検出器は、前記媒体の複数のシートのうちの複数を結合している前記金属物体の存在を、前記媒体の複数のシートのうちの第1のシートが前記供給経路に入る前に検出するように構成されている、請求項7に記載の原稿処理デバイス。
- 前記媒体の第1のシートが前記媒体供給経路に入る前に前記金属物体が検出された時に、ユーザに警告を提供するためのユーザインターフェイスをさらに備える、請求項10に記載の原稿処理デバイス。
