Claims (7)
- ワークの所望する表面粗さに応じた硬度を有するコアの表面にバインダを介して砥粒層が形成され、多数個をワークに吹き付けて表面仕上げを行う砥材であって、前記バインダは、非硬化性の粘着剤を主原料として粘着性を有し、前記ワークの所望する表面粗さに応じて、荒仕上げではより硬く、艶出しや鏡面研磨ではより柔らかくなるように、当該バインダの硬さを調整するための他剤が前記粘着剤に混合されていることを特徴とした砥材。
- バインダは、その硬さが主原料である非硬化性の粘着剤単独よりも大きく、硬くなる側に調整されている請求項1記載の砥材。
- バインダは、その硬さが主原料である非硬化性の粘着剤単独よりも小さく、柔らかくなる側に調整されている請求項1記載の砥材。
- バインダは、硬化物である請求項1または2記載の砥材。
- バインダは、流動物である請求項1または3記載の砥材。
- 主原料である非硬化性の粘着剤はゴム系またはアクリル系である請求項1から5のうち何れか一項記載の砥材。
- 砥粒層は、バインダの硬さが硬くなる側に相対的に大きく調整されるほど、相対的に粒径の大きい砥粒から構成される一方、前記バインダの硬さが柔らかくなる側に相対的に小さく調整されるほど、相対的に粒径の小さい砥粒から構成される請求項1から6のうち何れか一項記載の砥材。
