Description

Claims (18)
- 電子デバイスであって、
画像を表示するように構成された複数の画素を含み、複数のリフレッシュレートにおいて動作するように構成されたディスプレイパネルと、
前記ディスプレイパネルと通信可能に接続されたプロセッサと、を備え、前記プロセッサは、
前記画像の少なくとも一部の動きスピードを判断し、
前記画像の表示中にタッチ指示が検出されたかを判断し、
前記動きスピードが動きの閾値よりも遅いことに応じて、第1のリフレッシュレートから、前記第1のリフレッシュレートよりも低い第2のリフレッシュレートへ移行するように前記ディスプレイパネルに命令する、ように構成され、前記動きの閾値は、前記タッチ指示が検出されていない場合は第1の値であり、前記タッチ指示が検出された場合は前記動きの閾値の前記第1の値よりも低い第2の値である、電子デバイス。 - 前記プロセッサは、前記動きスピードが前記動きの閾値よりも大きいことに応じて、前記ディスプレイパネルに、前記第2のリフレッシュレートから前記第1のリフレッシュレートへ移行するように命令するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記第1のリフレッシュレートは120Hzであり、
前記第2のリフレッシュレートは60Hzである、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記第1のリフレッシュレートは60Hzであり、
前記第2のリフレッシュレートは30Hzである、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記第1のリフレッシュレートは240Hzであり、
前記第2のリフレッシュレートは120Hzである、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記動きスピードは、前記ディスプレイパネル上の1つ以上のタッチ指示の結果としての前記画像のコンテンツの動きを含み、前記プロセッサは、物体が前記ディスプレイパネルの表面に接触したときに前記タッチ指示を検出するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 前記プロセッサは、
前記タッチ指示が前記画像の表示中に検出された場合に、前記動きの閾値を前記第1の値から前記第2の値へ減少させ、
前記タッチ指示が前記画像の表示中に検出されない場合に、前記動きの閾値を前記第2の値から前記第1の値へ増加させる、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。 - 前記プロセッサは、前記ディスプレイパネルに、画像品質を改善するために及び前記電子デバイスの電力消費を減少させるために、前記複数のリフレッシュレート間で移行するように命令するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の電子デバイス。
- 電子ディスプレイを動作させる方法であって、
前記電子ディスプレイ上に表示される画像に対応する画像データを受信することと、
前記画像データに少なくとも部分的に基づいて前記電子ディスプレイに画像を表示することと、
画像の少なくとも一部の動きスピードを判断することと、
前記電子ディスプレイ上でユーザ入力操作が検出されたかどうかを判定することと、
前記動きスピードが画像速度閾値よりも遅いことに応じて、第1のリフレッシュレートから、前記第1のリフレッシュレートよりも低い第2のリフレッシュレートへ移行するように前記電子ディスプレイに命令し、前記画像速度閾値は、前記ユーザ入力操作が検出されていない場合は第1の値であり、前記ユーザ入力操作が検出された場合は前記画像速度閾値の前記第1の値よりも低い第2の値であることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記動きスピードが画像速度閾値より大きいことに応じて、前記電子ディスプレイに、前記第2のリフレッシュレートから前記第1のリフレッシュレートへ移行するように命令する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記ユーザ入力操作のユーザ入力を受信することと、ここで、前記ユーザ入力はタッチ指示を含み、

前記電子ディスプレイ上にタッチ操作が生じたかどうかを判定することと、
前記動きスピードが画像速度閾値よりも大きいことに応じて、前記電子ディスプレイを第1のリフレッシュレートから、前記第1のリフレッシュレートよりも低い第2のリフレッシュレートへ前記電子ディスプレイを移行させることと、を行わせるための命令を含み、前記画像速度閾値は、前記タッチ操作が検出されていない場合は第1の値であり、前記タッチ操作が検出された場合は前記画像速度閾値の前記第1の値よりも低い第2の値である、コンピュータプログラム。 - 前記電子ディスプレイの前記第2のリフレッシュレートでの1フレーム期間におけるコンテンツの動き量を表すボケ有効幅と前記第1のリフレッシュレートでの1フレーム期間における前記コンテンツの動き量を表すボケ有効幅との知覚可能な差の限界として定義される最小ボケ有効幅差に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記電子ディスプレイにリフレッシュレートを低減させるための命令を含む、請求項16に記載のコンピュータプログラム。
