Claims (15)
- 液体を熱対流させる熱対流生成用チップであって、
回転体と、
前記回転体に設けられた熱対流用流路と、
前記熱対流用流路に前記液体を供給する供給路と
を備え、
前記供給路は、
前記液体を受け入れる受入部と、
前記受入部と前記熱対流用流路とを連通させるとともに、前記受入部内の液体を毛細管現象により吸引する吸引通路と
を含み、
前記吸引通路は、前記吸引通路の中間部と前記熱対流用流路との間に位置する第1領域と、前記中間部と前記受入部との間に位置する第2領域とを有し、
前記第2領域は、前記第1領域と共に鋭角を形成し、
前記回転体を回転させることにより、前記第1領域内の液体と前記第2領域内の液体とが互いに離反する方向に移動し、前記第1領域内の液体が前記第2領域内の液体から分離して前記熱対流用流路に供給される、熱対流生成用チップ。 - 前記吸引通路は、前記中間部に空気を導入する空気孔をさらに有する、請求項1に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
- 前記供給路は、DNA又はRNAを含む検体液を前記熱対流用流路に供給する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
- 前記供給路は、PCR又は逆転写PCRを行うための反応試薬溶液を前記熱対流用流路に供給する、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
- 前記供給路を複数設け、
前記複数の供給路は、前記反応試薬溶液を前記熱対流用流路に供給する、請求項4に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。 - 前記供給路は、前記熱対流用流路内の液体の蒸発を抑制する蒸発抑制用液体を前記熱対流用流路に供給する、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
- 前記供給路を複数設け、
前記複数の供給路は、DNA又はRNAを含む検体液を前記熱対流用流路に供給する供給路と、PCR又は逆転写PCRを行うための反応試薬溶液を前記熱対流用流路に供給する供給路とを含み、
前記検体液を前記熱対流用流路に供給する供給路の前記第1領域の容積と、前記反応試薬溶液を前記熱対流用流路に供給する供給路の前記第1領域の容積とを併せた容積は、前記熱対流用流路の容積と等しい、請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。 - 前記吸引通路の前記第1領域と前記熱対流用流路との間に設けられた導入室と、
前記回転体に設けられたカバー部と
をさらに備え、
前記回転体に開口が形成され、
前記導入室は、前記第1領域の一方の端部と連通するとともに、前記開口を介して前記回転体の外側の空間と連通し、
前記カバー部は、前記開口を覆う、請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。 - 前記カバー部は、前記空間及び前記導入室と連通する凹部を有し、
前記凹部は、前記開口と対向する第1内壁面と、前記第1内壁面と交差する第2内壁面とを含み、
前記第1内壁面と前記第2内壁面とが成す角度が鈍角であり、又は前記第1内壁面と前記第2内壁面との間の境界部が断面円弧状の曲面である、請求項8に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。 - 前記供給路は、前記受入部内の液体を前記第2領域に案内する案内通路をさらに含み、
前記案内通路は、前記第2領域の入口を取り囲むとともに、前記入口と対向する開口面を有し、
前記案内通路の前記開口面の面積は、前記入口の開口面積よりも大きい、請求項1から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。 - 前記熱対流用流路を複数備える、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
- 前記熱対流用流路を複数備え、
前記供給路は、前記受入部を1つと、前記吸引通路を複数含み、前記複数の熱対流用流路の各々と前記受入部との間に、前記複数の吸引通路のうちのいずれかが設けられた、請求項1から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。 - 前記供給路を複数備え、前記複数の供給路が立体的に交差している、請求項12に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
- 前記吸引通路が前記受入部から毛細管現象により吸引した液体は、前記吸引通路の全長に亘って充填される、請求項1から請求項13のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
- 前記第1領域は、径方向に延伸する、請求項1から請求項14のいずれか1項に記載の熱対流生成用チップ。
