Description
本PCT国際出願は、2015年1月29日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第62/109,171号の優先権の利益を主張するものであり、その主題は引用することによりその全体が本明細書の一部をなす。
本実施例では、PC樹脂に関する鉱物の効果の評価を、ミクロ結晶性及びマクロ結晶性のタルク並びに金雲母について判定した。
実施例1のように、汎用性のPC樹脂(Lexan(商標)141)において、20wt%の装填量で配合される、表面処理されているか又は表面処理されていない鉱物をPCの劣化特性について試験した。本実施例は、実施例1で試験しなかった更なる鉱物及び表面処理について評価したものである。特に、本実施例では、白雲母、カオリン、緑泥石、パーライト及び更なるマクロ結晶性タルクを評価した。
本実施例では、2μmの中華人民共和国広西壮族自治区産のタルクを、2wt%のMEMOシラン又はビニルシランで処理し、PC樹脂(LEXAN(商標)141)に20wt%の量で装填した。以下の表3における結果は、300℃における10分間の乾燥の前後のMFIを示すものである。表3に示されるように、これらの結果は、シラン処理、例えばMEMO−シランによる処理の有効性を実証するものである。
Claims (24)
- 強化樹脂組成物であって、
該強化樹脂組成物の75重量パーセント〜99重量パーセントの範囲の量のポリカーボネートと、
官能化剤と、
該強化樹脂組成物の1重量パーセント〜25重量パーセントの範囲の量で存在する、前記官能化剤で官能化された無機フィラーと、
を含み、
該官能化剤が、3−メタクリルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、ビニルシラン(ビニルトリメトキシシラン又はビニルトリエトキシシラン)及びそれらの組合せから選ばれるものであり、
該無機フィラーが、マクロ結晶性タルク、白雲母、焼成カオリン、及びそれらの組合から選ばれるものであり、
該フィラーの平均粒径d 50 が、1.0μm〜15μmの範囲であり、
該強化樹脂組成物を300℃の温度で10分間維持した後、1.2kgの荷重で測定した場合、該強化樹脂組成物が25以下のメルトフローインデックスを示す、強化樹脂組成物。 - 前記官能化剤が、3−メタクリルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシランである、請求項1に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記無機フィラーが、マクロ結晶性タルクである、請求項1又は2に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記強化樹脂組成物が20以下のメルトフローインデックスを示す、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記強化樹脂組成物が11.3〜19.5のメルトフローインデックスを示す、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記ポリカーボネートが75重量パーセント〜95重量パーセントの範囲の量で存在し、前記官能化された無機フィラーが5重量パーセント〜25重量パーセントの範囲の量で存在する、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記マクロ結晶性タルクが、12m2/g未満の表面積を示す、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 可塑剤、耐衝撃性改良剤、顔料、染料、着色剤、安定剤及び加工助剤から選ばれる少なくとも1つの付加的な成分を更に含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 97%相対湿度及び23℃で120時間試験した場合、前記官能化剤で官能化された前記無機フィラーの吸湿性が、官能化していない前記無機フィラーに比べて少なくとも45%低減する、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 官能化していない前記無機フィラーを含む強化樹脂組成物に対するスプレー形成と比べてスプレー形成が低減される、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 前記無機フィラーは85%より高い純度を有する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の強化樹脂組成物。
- 強化ポリカーボネート材料の熱劣化を低減させて強化樹脂組成物を得る方法であって、
ポリカーボネート材料中に、無機フィラーの表面活性を改質させるよう官能化剤で官能化された少なくとも1つの無機フィラーを導入する工程を有し、
該強化樹脂組成物の75重量パーセント〜99重量パーセントの範囲の量のポリカーボネートと、
官能化剤と、
該強化樹脂組成物の1重量パーセント〜25重量パーセントの範囲の量で存在する、前記官能化剤で官能化された無機フィラーと、
を含み、
該官能化剤が、3−メタクリルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、ビニルシラン(ビニルトリメトキシシラン又はビニルトリエトキシシラン)及びそれらの組合せから選ばれるものであり、
該無機フィラーが、マクロ結晶性タルク、白雲母、焼成カオリン、及びそれらの組合から選ばれるものであり、
該フィラーの平均粒径d 50 が、1.0μm〜15μmの範囲であり、
該強化樹脂組成物を300℃の温度で10分間維持した後、1.2kgの荷重で測定した場合、該強化樹脂組成物が25以下のメルトフローインデックスを示す、方法。 - 前記官能化剤が、3−メタクリルオキシプロピルトリメトキシシランである、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記無機フィラーが、マクロ結晶性タルクである、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
- 前記マクロ結晶性タルクが、12m2/g未満の表面積を示す、請求項12〜14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記強化樹脂組成物が20以下のメルトフローインデックスを示す、請求項12〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記強化樹脂組成物が11.3〜19.5のメルトフローインデックスを示す、請求項12〜15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリカーボネートが75重量パーセント〜95重量パーセントの範囲の量で存在し、前記官能化された無機フィラーが5重量パーセント〜25重量パーセントの範囲の量で存在する、請求項12〜17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 可塑剤、耐衝撃性改良剤、顔料、染料、着色剤、安定剤及び加工助剤から選ばれる少なくとも1つの付加的な成分を更に含む、請求項12〜18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。

- 前記導入する工程が剪断混合工程を含む、請求項12〜20のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記剪断混合工程が押し出しを含む、請求項21に記載の方法。
- 官能化していない前記無機フィラーを含む強化樹脂組成物に対するスプレー形成と比べてスプレー形成が低減される、請求項12〜22のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記無機フィラーは85%より高い純度を有する、請求項12〜23のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
