Description
(第一実施形態)
第一実施形態のガラスパネルユニット9およびこれの製造方法について、図1から図6に基づいて説明する。
第二実施形態のガラスパネルユニット9Aおよびにこれの製造方法ついて、図7から図9に基づいて説明する。但し、上記した第一実施形態と同様の構成については、同一符号を付して詳しい説明を省略する。
図10は、第一実施形態のガラスパネルユニット9に対して窓枠91を嵌め込んだガラス窓900を示している。ガラス窓900は、平面視矩形状であるガラスパネルユニット9の周縁部に、矩形枠状の窓枠91が嵌め込まれた構造であり、高い断熱性を有する。ガラス窓900においては、正面から視たときに、ガラスパネルユニット9のシール4が窓枠91に隠れることが好ましい。また、ガラスパネルユニット9の排気孔8とこれを塞ぐ封止材53が窓枠91に隠れることも好ましい。
上述した各実施形態から明らかなように、第1の形態のガラスパネルユニットの製造方法は、接合工程S3と減圧工程S4と封止工程S5を備える。

Claims (7)
- 少なくともガラス板からなる第一基板がその厚み方向の一方に有する第一面と、少なくともガラス板からなる第二基板がその厚み方向の一方に有する第二面が、枠状のシールを介して気密に接合される接合工程と、
前記第一面と前記第二面と前記シールで囲まれる内部空間が、前記第一基板または前記第二基板に設けられた排気孔を通じて減圧される減圧工程と、
前記内部空間が減圧状態で保持されたまま前記排気孔が封止される封止工程を備え、
前記封止工程では、溶融された封止材の液滴が前記排気孔に向けて吐出され、前記封止材によって前記排気孔が封止される
ことを特徴とするガラスパネルユニットの製造方法。 - 前記減圧工程では、前記排気孔を通じて前記内部空間と連通するように前記第一基板または前記第二基板に対して着脱自在に装着される排気装置を用いて、前記内部空間が減圧され、
前記封止工程では、前記排気装置を用いて前記内部空間が減圧された状態で、前記排気装置内から、溶融された前記封止材の液滴が前記排気孔に向けて吐出される
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラスパネルユニットの製造方法。 - 前記排気孔は、前記第一基板と前記第二基板のうち上方に位置する側の基板に設けられ、
前記排気装置は、前記上方に位置する側の基板に対して着脱自在に装着され、
前記封止工程では、溶融状態で貯留された前記封止材の液滴が前記排気孔に向けて滴下される
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のガラスパネルユニットの製造方法。 - 前記排気装置は、排気空間を有する排気ヘッドと、吐出口を有する吐出部を含み、
前記封止工程では、前記第一基板または第二基板に対して前記排気ヘッドが押し当てられた状態で、溶融された前記封止材の液滴が前記吐出口から吐出され、前記排気空間を通じて前記排気孔に供給される
ことを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載のガラスパネルユニットの製造方法。 - 前記吐出部は、前記封止材を貯留するタンクと、前記封止材を加熱して溶融状態とするヒーターを、さらに有する
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のガラスパネルユニットの製造方法。 - 前記第一基板と前記第二基板の一方に対して、枠体を介して第三基板が接合される第二接合工程を、さらに含む
ことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のガラスパネルユニットの製造方法。 - 請求項1から6のいずれか一項にガラスパネルユニットの製造方法で製造されたガラスパネルユニットに、窓枠を嵌め込む嵌め込み工程を備える
ことを特徴とするガラス窓の製造方法。
